It's been about 4 days since Sam mentioned the party. I don't know why, but...I'm wondering how it could be like. I'm not into dancing that much, I'd just like to wander around, see different people even though I'm not very comfortable around strangers. "Charlie!" Sam called loudly from the living room. I approached him quickly with a slightly confused look. "What's wrong?" I asked and he stood up. "C'm with me, please." he said and I followed him into the kitchen. "What are we doing here?" I asked with a soft giggle escaping my mouth. "Marcel and Robin are coming tonight." he said. T-they are? And...Marco? "Oh so." I mused and he smirked. "Ask me the question you wanna ask." he teased and I bit my lip shaking my head. "I don't wanna ask anything." I mumbled and he scoffed. "I'm gonna answer. Marco's gonna play tonight in Mainz. That's why he won't come." he said and I looked away. "But...being in the kitchen doesn't make sense to me." I said and he held up his index finger. "I need some pieces of advice about what to cook." he said and I rolled my eyes. "If you're gonna cook, nobody will eat it." I muttered and he raised his eyebrows. "Is it that bad?" he mused and I chuckled. "Do I have to remind you of the potatoes?" I squeaked and he made a face. "I'll order Chinese food." he said and walked out of the kitchen.

.....

"Char, open the door!" Sam yelled and I rolled my eyes. Padding into the hall, I opened the door and somehow, smiled. "Hey." I said and Marcel grinned. "Hello Charlie!" he exclaimed and walked past me. "Hi." Robin said and I nodded. Closing the door, I started walking into the living room. "Where's Sam?" Marcel asked and I smirked. "Sam aka model, is having a shave." I said and they started laughing. "Charlie! You won't get dinner!" Sam yelled and I shrugged. "The Chinese? No problem." I agreed and Marcel clapped his hands. "Do we have Chinese?" he quipped and I nodded. "In the kitchen." I answered and he patted my shoulder. "I like that you're slowly getting used to communicating." he mumbled and walked away. Well, there's...nothing left for me. And...they're not that bad.

The match started. I watched the first 5 minutes, but then started typing on the keyboard of my laptop. I'm looking for a flat. And I already have a meeting with the owner tomorrow. It's not big, only one-bedroom apartment. But that's exactly what I need. "Charlie?" Sam posed and I looked at him. "What are you still doing there?" he mused pointing on my laptop and I gulped. I haven't told him. I don't want him to get angry... "N-no-nothing." I rambled and he rolled his eyes. Standing up, he walked behind me to take a look at the screen. "One-bedroom apartment only 15 minutes by car..." his words trailed off. "You're moving away?" he squeaked and I sighed. "Can I steal you away for a minute?" I mused and Marcel shrugged while Robin was deep into watching the match. I walked to the kitchen dragging Sam behind me. "I'm sorry for not telling you." I apologized and he shook his head. "Why do you wanna move away? This flat is...big enough, I think." he said and I nodded. "It is, but...I'm your friend. You don't need me here." I said and he sighed. "Charlie, you're welcomed here." he said and I chuckled. "Yeah? Well, you've liked one girl lately and I'm afraid she wouldn't welcome me here after waking up one day." I mused and he blushed lightly. "You need privacy for your private life, so do I." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Private life? Are you hiding anything..well, anybody?" he asked and I shook my head quickly. "Sam, I'm...fine and not a child anymore. I can live on my own just like I did in Munich and in London." I said and he sighed. "That flat is 15 minutes driving to the city centre. About 25 minutes to come here." he said and I shrugged. "It's a good price. And it's nice...new." I said and he shrugged. "Fine, okay. Can you afford the rent?" he asked and I rolled my eyes. "I have enough money. And...I'm planning to get a job." I said and he smiled lightly. "I don't want my little kid to leave." he said and hugged me. I slapped the back of his head. We pulled away and he started walking away. Then, he stopped and turned around to look at me. "Uum...by the way, I have a date on Sunday with Sara and...secondly, I think that Reus would appreciate if he wakes up in your own flat one day too." he teased and walked away leaving me blushing like tomato. I...Marco...Sam...What?!

I was watching the match when Marco started running towards the goal. I gulped and, in my mind, wished Marco to score. I don't know why I feel like this. I watched football from time to time, but I've never wished anybody a goal this much. "Yeeees!" Marcel screamed while Robin and Sam kept clapping. I smiled softly and watched Marco celebrating. He looks...motivated. And happy. "Char?" Marcel mused and I looked at him nodding my head. "You're smiling." he said and I rolled my eyes. I am. "Quite wide smile." Robin added and I nodded. "So what? I can smile. I like their kits." I said and Sam chuckled. "Of course you do." he teased. Charlie, c'mon. I've not been this awkward for a looong time. "I like that one." I said pointing on a player. I didn't even know he looked like. "Which one?" Marcel asked with furrowed eyebrows and I smirked. "That one who is running." I quipped. "Seriously? C'mon!" Marcel groaned and Robin kept laughing while Sam was observing me. Do I like Marco? When I ask myself this question, I become sick. I'm scared of getting hurt again. And I'm not quite able to answer this question.

Saturday

"Do you like it here?" the owner of the flat asked me while I kept looking around the living room. "Yes, it's very nice." I answered and looked at Sam. "What do you think?" I mused and he smiled. "It's not that small, neither large. I think you'd be happy here." he replied and I nodded. "But, Charlie, you don't need to decide right now." Sam warned gently, but I shook my head. "I like it here." I mumbled and looked at the owner. "Can I have it?" I asked and he giggled. "Well, Ms Baumann...it's yours whenever you're ready." he said and I grinned nodding my head.

.....

"Are you sure with that flat?" Sam asked while we were walking towards the club. I agreed to come. Why? My heart was telling me to. I often choose my brain's opinion, but this time, I made an exception and took my heart's advice. "Yeah, why not?" I mused and he sighed. "I don't know...I'm just not a fan of the idea of you being alone that far from me." he said and I rolled my eyes. "Sam, it takes 20 minutes to get there. It's not that much." I posed softly and he nodded. "I know, but still...It's gonna be weird to have you that far from me." he said and I stopped walking. "What's wrong? It's just around the corner." he said and I shook my head. "Thank you so much, Sam. For taking me from Munich, Oliver, bringing me to your flat. But believe me when I say it'll be better this way. You need your privacy." I said and he smiled nodding softly. "And I'm also sure you'll need it when you finally get together with Sara." I teased and he giggled. We began walking again. We were let in the club immediately since the security guards knew Sam and Marcel had given us the VIP ticket. Following Sam, I smiled seeing all the people having fun and enjoying themselves. "Here we are." Sam told me when we stopped in the VIP lounge. I shivered lightly not being very comfortable with the way I look, but I decided to push the feeling away. Wearing black backless dress and black high heels with my hair being wavy which made them look shorter is not a daily thing, but I should enjoy myself for at least one night. A few hours. That's it.
