Sitting down on the comfortable couch, I looked on my right to make sure Sam's there. "Hey guys!" Marcel approached us. High-fiving Sam, he looked at me waiting for my reaction. He's not that bad. "Hi Marcel." I greeted him and he smiled. "Welcome Charlie." he said. "You're...late?" Robin said sitting down next to us. "Yeah, this gentleman couldn't decide what to wear." I said pinching Sam's shoulder and Robin raised his eyebrows. "You were waiting fo him? A woman was waiting for a man?" he squealed and I giggled. "Yeah." I confirmed and Robin shook his head. "Sam, I have to admit that even though you did your best, Charlie looks better than you." Marcel said and I chuckled noticing Sam's expression. "It's difficult to look better than her. I mean, her legs are longer than mine." Sam complained and I rolled my eyes. "Her legs are longer and way more charming." Robin said. "Could we stop talking about my legs, please?" I mused being a bit ashamed and shy. "You can't blame them, Charlie." Marco stepped in. Looking up, I gulped hardly. Marcel and Robin eyed us carefully and Sam stood up. "I wanna dance." he announced. "Charlie?" Sam posed, but I shook my head. "Later." I refused and he nodded. "Marcel join me!" he exclaimed and they both went to the dance floor. I expected Robin to go with Marco, but Marco stayed there while Robin padded away. Why did they do this? Do they...know anything? No...they cannot know that...nothing. There's nothing to know because there's nothing going on.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" Marco mused and I shook my head. "N-no, thanks." I refused and he shrugged. "Shame. There's already this one prepared for you." he said holding up shots. I took one and sighed. "I...don't you have water?" I asked and he giggled pointing on the bottle which was placed on the table. He looks...very good. His arm covered by tattoos. His eyes looking at me carefully. His lips curved in a light smile. "Cheers." I said and he smiled. "Cheers to the future." he said. What does he mean by 'future'? "Aargh." I groaned and took the bottle. After drinking it, I let out a sigh of relief. "I thought you're gonna drink the whole bottle. It'd leave me waterless." he said while laughing softly and I furrowed my eyebrows. "I...the...it's yours?" I rambled and he nodded. "Oh..I'm...sorry." I said and he smiled. "It's okay." he mused and stepped closer to me. To my and his surprise, I didn't take a step back. I was kind of stuck to the floor. "However, you owe me a dance." he said and I blushed. I blushed. B-l-u-s-h-e-d. "I...restrooms?" I asked and he pointed behind my back. "Over there." he said and I smiled padding away. Really heart? We're gonna to that again?

Marco's POV

"You owe me a dance." I said standing closer to her than ever. I didn't expect she'd let me stand this close to her. She intents to take a step back if she doesn't feel comfortable, but...this time, she stayed standing there. Her beautiful green eyes were dancing like little sparkles and, I cannot be completely sure because of the bad light, but it seemed that she blushed. "I...restrooms?" she posed softly and I smiled. Yeah, it's still her. I pointed behind her back. "Over there." I guided her and she smiled politely. I watched her walking away her hips swaying. I like the way she looks. And in that...dress and high heels she's wearing, it's hard to resist. However, I need to hold it on the normal line. I don't wanna scare her. God. Is she beautiful...But when I see her, I don't only think about the way she looks. I also listen to what she says and how soft her voice is. "Dreaming?" Robin posed patting my shoulder. I chuckled shaking my head and looked down on the floor. "I need to melt those ice walls around her." I said and looked at him. He smiled and shrugged. "Good luck to you then." he said and I nodded. I'll definitely need it.

Charlotte's POV

Walking back, I looked around realizing there's only Marco in the lounge. "Uum...Marco?" I mused softly. He looked up at me from his phone and smiled as if he was waiting for me to address him. "Haven't you seen Sam?" I asked, but he shook his head. "I think he's still with Marcel." he said and I nodded. What shall I do? Sit down next to him? That would...not work. "Do you wanna dance?" he asked standing up. I let out a nervous giggle and shook my head. "I'm...no, thanks." I said, but he only smirked. "But you owe me a dance." he said and I smiled lightly not realizing it. "But I don't feel like dancing. And to top it all I'm not a good dancer." I said and he smiled. "You know...if there's a slowlier song on, we could dance." he mumbled huskily and I looked away from his beautiful eyes. "It's a party. One can't expect a slow song." I said and looked at him furrowing my eyebrows. "Why are you laughing?" I posed and he shrugged. "You always know what to say. It seems that you don't have to think anything over." he explained and I gulped. "Charlieee!" Sam called approaching us. Marco made an angry face causing me to think. Did he want to be alone with me? "C'm and dance with mee!" he begged and threw his arm around my shoulder. I got out of his hold because of feeling uncomfortable. I...I don't prefer touching right now. "Dance?" I squealed and looked around. Seeing a woman walking around us, I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. "Sorry. Would you mind dancing with this lovely guy?" I asked her and she giggled shaking her head. "Thank youuu." Sam whispered and walked away with her. "I...Sorry." I said and walked away to get my coat.

Sitting on the bench, I was chewing the kebab. It tastes awful. But I needed something to do. It was either getting drunk, or eating. And assuming the fact that I'm outside alone not knowing where exactly I am, I decided to eat. "Charlie?" Is that Marco? I turned around and choked. "Are you okay?" Marco posed softly coming closer. I looked in front of me and gulped. "I-I was hungry. And...there was this bistro, and so I bought the kebab. But, apparently, it's not that good. Well, I expected something better, but I think I've already eaten worse food." I rambled while he kept looking at me. "You were not hungry." he said and I shivered. Looking at him, I shook my head lightly. "Why did you leave? I got scared." he said. He what? "Why would you get scared?" I asked rather angry. "You left just like that." he answered and I shook my head. "People leave. I just...wanted to buy this awful kebab." I muttered and sighed. "Okay. Now listen to me." he said and I looked at him. "I know that...some actions are not acceptable for you right now, but...if I've done something, I'm sorry." he said and I raised my eyebrows. "You know? Oh. You don't know anything." I snapped and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Charlie, I..." I cut him off. "Words are useless, Marco. I can't bare somebody's touch on me, I don't wanna be left alone in the same room with a stranger. I'm broken. Broken and I need time to fix it all." I burst out and stood up. "Maybe it's not always about trying to fix something broken. Maybe it's about starting over and creating something better." Marco said and I felt the tears in my eyes. "Believe me, if you had gone through the same as I did, you wouldn't be so optimistic." I said and he stood up too. "I don't wanna hurt you and I think that you realize that." he said and I sniffled. "Don't come closer." I whispered, but he took the step front anyway. "I...I know that the guy hurt you. But...don't think about it anymore." he said and I scoffed. "I wish it could be that easy. To look at a man and don't get scared." I said and he stepped so close that I could feel his breath. "Even if you get scared, you know that I couldn't hurt you." he said and I gulped. "Charlotte, I li-..." he couldn't finish. "Tell Sam that I went home." I said and walked away quickly. Why did I leave? Because I got scared. Scared that those things he said could be true.

Marco's POV

Sitting on the couch, I drank the 3rd shot and sighed. "Where's Char?" Sam asked coming in the lounge. I looked at him and shook my head. "She went home." I muttered and he sighed. "She had her moment again..." he mumbled and I looked at him. "Sam, I wouldn't hurt her and I'd appreciate if she could realize that." I said and he smiled. "Do you even think she knows that I like her?" I posed and he looked at me. "Seriously?" he squealed and sighed. "Marco, it's an easy mistake to think that non-talkers are non-feelers." he said and I looked down on the floor. "All the hardest, coldest people you've met, were once as soft as water. If she used to be soft, she'll be that way again." he said and I looked at him. "I just...maybe she doesn't even know that I truly like her. Maybe she thinks that I'm only playing games." I rambled and he chuckled. "You really can't see it? The way she looks at you isn't the same way she looks at the other guys." he said and I smiled softly. I like the thought of that. "She was disappointed a little while ago. Assure her she doesn't have to be afraid of falling for you, and she'll be yours." he said and I looked down again. She can treat me like a shit. But I will be there waiting for her.
