The next few days went rather differently to previously. You would always wonder in, sit with Kaoru and Hikaru for awhile, until being hijacked by Honey-senpai, being dragged over to his section and (to your delight) being offered numerous cakes and a rather amusing conversation with Honey. Though for some reason, no matter how much Honey asked, Mori-senpai would never join in. He wouldn't even look at you, to be quite honest. You sat alone on the grass, resting against a tree as you watched the clouds drift past, thinking about the whole scenario. I'm not even sure what I did. But he seems rather irritated with me. He was fine talking to me when we first met... What did I do? Not anything that I know of though... Maybe he's just not spending enough time with Honey to... To change his attitude... Wait... I took Honey away from him... Oh Gods no... He really wants to kill me. You put your head in your hands and shut your eyes. What the hell am I meant to do? I can't do that to Mori-senpai. He's known Hone-...
"Hey, you okay?" A voice broke your thoughts, making you look up.
"I'm fine, Kaoru..." You sat back and sighed. Kaoru sat down too, right next to you.
"Kaoru. Do you think Mori-senpai hates me?" He frowned, slightly taken back by your question.
"Why on earth would you think that?" You looked away, fiddling with your fingers.
"He never talks to me." You listed.
"That's normal for Mori-kun."
"He doesn't look at me."
"Still, rather normal Mori-kun stuff."
"Or if he does he only glares."
"Um..."
"And whenever I'm around, he won't do anything Honey-senpai asks..." You looked up to Kaoru, but his face was plastered with shock.
"You must've done something really bad, your on the top of his to-kill-list if it's that bad." You sighed, leaning back into the tree again.
"Thing is, what I did really if bad. I took Honey's attention from him. I'm around so much, Mori-senpai never even gets a chance to talk to Honey-senpai outside of lessons..." You looked down again. You didn't know what to do.
"I don't want him to hate me for being nice. He should at least hate me for being mean." You sighed, again, and rested your head on Kaoru's shoulders. He flinched slightly, but gave no rejection.
"What do I do, Kaoru?" He leant his head on yours slightly.
"I really don't know..." You both sat silent for awhile. The conversation had lost the meaning, you really didn't know how to handle it. You let the silence envelope the scene.
"Hey, Y/N?" You lifted your head from Kaoru's shoulder to look at him.
"Yeah." He turned to look at you, his face having lost all emotion.
"How can you tell the difference between me and Hikaru?" You raised an eyebrow, laying back on the tree in thought.
"I don't know... I guess, no matter how much you're convinced of it, you're both different people. There are so many differences you need to concentrate on, that distinguish you both, and make you separate people. Your personalities vary, and you make sure you never look identical, so you recognise that to an extent. But you don't seem to realise quite how separate you really are. And so only few people can see that, and tell you apart. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I just know..."
"I just know."
