Differences - Kaoru x reader

You pulled your shirt down just as Mori knocked on the door. Slipping on you slippers as you went, you opened it up to see him looking down at you with as much expression as Mori ever has.
"Dinners done." You nod and smile at him. Shutting the door behind, you follow him down to the dining room, 'collecting' Haruhi on the way. The large door swings open to be met by all the guys swooning over Haruhi in her nightgown. You walk out from behind her and head to the table, your slippers sliding against the polished floor. You sit down at the table, to find everyone else now following you. You yawn lightly and turn to Kaoru as he sits beside you. He starts to open his mouth as Honey leans over the table, taking you attention.
"You look nice too, Y/N-chan!" You giggle at him, leaning on your hand.
"I'm in an old shirt and shorts. I don't care for meaningless comments. But thanks." He frowns at you sitting back in his chair.
"But I mean it!" You found yourself laughing quietly.
"Thanks Honey-senpai." You stretch your arm out and ruffle his hair lightly. He smiles at you, but then the room goes silent. You peer down the table at Haruhi and Tamaki. Haruhi seems to be the only one not noticing the thick tension as she plows her way through the crab. Tamaki sits staring at her, rather obviously trying not to hug her or anything else like that. You smirk and shake your head, grabbing some of the food yourself and biting down on it.

You push your chair back as the silence finally gets to you.
"Well, I'm full and tired. So... I'm gonna go to bed." You stand up and head to the large door. You turn around and salute lightly before opening the large doors. Pushing them open you step through them, just as you catch one foot on the other. A small cry sounds as you find yourself trip. You head the chairs screeching behind you causing you to jump up and spin round.
"I'm fine!!! Totally meant to do that!" You rub the back of you neck, peeking forward to see Honey and Kaoru standing up.
"Um.. Night." You turn round and scurry down the hallway.






The door swings open again.
"Hey. Um... Kyoya-kun. I- uh... Don't know were my room is... Hehe."
