Stiles POV

It has been three months since Vanessa was defeated and things couldn't have been going better. Summer break is ending in several days and I'll be starting senior year, which is kind of nerve wracking, but I know that I'll be okay. I have the best people in my life to support me every step of the way, just like I will do for them. I walk towards Scott's house and knock politely on the door. After a few moments, the door finally opens to reveal a smiling Scott standing before me. I can't help but smile back. Over the last three months, our relationship has remained strong and continued to grow. We've had a lot of time to spend alone with each other over the summer break. There has been a little bit of 'Netflix and Chill' involved sometimes, which is always great. "Hey, Stiles." Scott greets me, pulling me out of my wandering thoughts.

"Hi, Scott. Are you ready to go?" I ask my boyfriend curiously.

"Yeah, I'll just get my phone, wallet and keys." Scott replies before dashing back inside the house. After a moment, he arrives back at the doorframe. "Let's go." He tells me with a smile. Once Scott closes the front door behind him, Scott and I walk down into the front yard. "Do you want to take your jeep or the motorbike?" Scott asks curiously.

"You know I always love the motorbike." I chuckle, nudging Scott in the ribs. Over the past few months, Scott has taken me on many rides. It's so thrilling, I love every minute of it. "Motorbike it is then." Scott says as he walks towards his green motorbike. He grabs a helmet and tosses it over to me. I quickly strap it on and watch as Scott straps his own helmet on. I'm glad he finally decided to buy a second helmet. I know he's a werewolf and all, but I still don't want him to end up seriously hurt because of a motorbike accident. Hopefully the helmet will prevent that. Scott climbs onto the bike and looks back at me. I quickly rush forward and jump onto the back of the bike, wrapping my arms around Scott's waist. "This picnic in the countryside idea with the pack before we go back to school is great." I comment before Scott starts the engine. "Yeah, it is. Thank Lydia for that one. Hold on Stiles, this is going to be a long ride." Scott replies. I nod and lean forwards slightly more, allowing myself to have a stronger grip on Scott's waist. Scott starts the engine and kicks the motorbike into action. I lurch forward slightly as the motorbike takes off, but I manage to not lose my balance thankfully. We rush out onto the main road and start heading out of town. I smile as I watch the scenery flash by me.

About an hour and a half later, we finally pull up into a clearing in the countryside. I notice that Lydia, Kira and Malia are already here. Scott cuts the engine and parks the motorbike before taking his helmet off. I quickly take my helmet off too and climb off the bike. I place my helmet on the seat, next to Scott's. The werewolf in question then grabs my hand and smiles at me. I smile back before the two of us make our way over to our friends who are sitting on a picnic blanket with baskets all around them. "Hi guys!" I call out as we walk over to the picnic blanket. The three girls wave and smile
in response. Scott and I sit down on the large blanket next to our friends. "You always choose the nicest places to hang out at, Lydia." I laugh, gesturing to the scenery. Lydia huffs proudly and flips her long strawberry blonde hair back over her shoulder. "Well, I do my best." She comments. I chuckle in response.

"Did you bring all this stuff?" Scott asks the banshee.

"Yeah." Lydia replies.

"You do know we could have helped you out, right?" Kira reminds her.

"Yeah, but I wanted to do this for my friends." Lydia laughs.

"Okay then." I shrug in defeat.

"So, are Isaac and Kara coming today?" Scott asks Lydia.
