Forever and Always (Sciles)

Stiles POV

I wake up to the sound of my alarm blaring. I groan in annoyance as my hand fumbles around to try and turn it off. Finally, I'm successful. I don't get out of bed though. Unfortunately a few minutes later, Dad walks into my room. "Time to get up, kiddo. It's a school day." Dad reminds me.

"Ugh, first day of senior year. Yay." I reply sarcastically as I groggily sit up and rub the sleep out of my eyes. Dad shakes his head at me with a slight smile on his face. "Just get your butt to school, Stiles. I've got to go to work. I'll see you tonight, okay?" Dad says before walking away.

"Okay!" I call back as I slowly get out bed and get ready for the day. Once I'm dressed, my hair is brushed and I have brushed my teeth, I walk out of my room and down the stairs. I'm not hungry, so I'll skip breakfast today. I wait in the living room for Kara to appear. 10 minutes later, she does. Kara walks over to me with an excited smile. "You ready?" I ask the mermaid. "As ready as I'll ever be." Kara nods. With that, the two of us walk out of the house and towards my jeep. I make sure to lock the house up before we leave. We jump into the jeep, I start the engine and drive towards the school. Once we arrive at the high school, I find an empty space in the parking lot and quickly park my jeep. The two of us sit in the car for a few moments, watching the students walk towards the main building. I scan the sea of students, trying to spot our friends. "Do you think this year is going to go by quickly?" Kara asks me curiously. I turn to the mermaid who has already taken off her seatbelt, holding her bag in her hands. "Yeah, I think so. I don't know what I'll do once I've finished school. It's been a huge part of my life, whether it's been on land or in the ocean." I answer with a light smile. "At least we'll be free." Kara says.

"That's true." I laugh in agreement. With that, we both get out of the car. I grab my bag from the back before locking up the jeep and walk towards the main building. Near the entrance, I find Liam talking to some students that I don't know the names of. They might be new. I see Malia and Kira leaning against some of the lockers inside. Malia is groaning about something. Probably math. I chuckle slightly at the thought. I don't think she'll ever get over her hatred for the subject. "I'm going to go find Isaac. I'll see you later, Stiles!" Kara tells me before she rushes off. I watch as she enters the building and almost skips down the hall to find her boyfriend. I smile at the sight. She's always full of energy and happiness, even if she is a little shy at first. I slowly walk into the building and look around me. Students are laughing, talking and chasing each other around the corridors. The first day is always chaos. Today is no exception. I smirk slightly as I hear Coach shouting at some kids that apparently have already messed up his office. I need to step up my game with pranks on Coach this year, as this will be my final chance to. Suddenly, I hear someone walk up beside me and they wrap their arm around my waist. I break out into a huge smile as I turn to look at my boyfriend.

"First day of senior year," I say as Scott warmly smiles back at me. I wrap my own arm around Scott.

"Our last first day ever." Scott reminds me.

"Oh, yeah. Wow, that's weird to think about." I giggle. Suddenly, the bell rings above us, signalling that our first classes will be starting.

"What have you got?" I ask Scott curiously as we start walking down the hall together, arms still wrapped around each other. "AP Biology. You?" Scott answers.

"Um, Psychology, I think." I reply as I try to remember my timetable.

"I can't wait for you to tell me all about it later. I hope you enjoy it." Scott tells me.
