Stiles POV

Scott, Kara and I walk into the loft to see Derek, Lydia, Isaac, Malia and Kira already here. Now all we are waiting for is Liam. We walk further into the room, making our way over to the others. "Hey," I greet the rest of our friends.

"Hi." They all reply back. Kara walks over to her boyfriend and gives him a hug. I smile at the happy couple. They are so cute together. I'm just waiting for the future wedding invite. "So, what does anyone know about Tracy? Have any of you guys come across her at school before?" Derek asks us in a concerned voice.

"Not much. I think I've seen her around a couple of times, but I haven't really said hello to her and I don't have her in any of my classes. She always seemed quite shy." I answer with a shrug, feeling guilty. Now this has happened, I wish I had known Tracy. Maybe I could have helped prevent this. Judging by the looks everyone else in the room is showing, they must be feeling similar to me, including Scott. I grab his hand and give it a gentle squeeze. Scott looks over at me and gives me a grateful smile, squeezing my hand back in response. We then turn to face the others. Lydia starts talking. "She was in my calculus class last year and this year. I helped her study for one of the tests last year." Lydia sighs. I guess that makes sense as to why Lydia noticed Tracy's changes in behavior. "When did she start acting differently? When did she begin having night terrors?" Derek presses, hoping to get the most information that he can.

"When did she throw up the black blood and feathers?" He adds.

"That was on Monday morning." I reply for Lydia.

"I think she must have started acting differently during the summer break. She was fine last year, apart from her night terrors. She didn't let them affect her though. This year however, it's different. She said to me the other day that she now never knows what's real and what's not." The banshee explains.

"Yeah, I know how that feels." I mutter quietly under my breath, looking down at the ground. I feel Scott let go of my hand, but then quickly wrap it around my waist, pulling me to his side. I glance up again to see Scott looking at me with a warm and reassuring shine in his eyes. "But you'll never have to feel that way again, I promise. I'll protect you from it in any way that I possibly can." Scott tells me confidently. I smile gratefully at the werewolf.

"Thanks, Scotty. I really don't know what I would do without you." I reply.

"I don't know what I would do without you either." Scott smiles before quickly planting a light kiss on my cheek, leaving a tingling sensation once he pulls away. We stare into each other's eyes lovingly for a moment. "Okay, sorry to break up the romance, but can we please just get back to finding Tracy? Save the lovey dove stuff for later, and preferably in private. This Tracy situation could be really serious. Who knows what's wrong with her or what is behind her disappearance?" Derek grumbles, pulling Scott and I out of our daze. We blink a couple of times before we look back to our friends. "You're right, Derek. We're sorry. Let's just focus on the problem at hand." Scott answers quickly. His arm stays tightly wrapped around my waist though, keeping me close to him. Finally, Liam arrives, quite out of breath, may I add. "Sorry, my parents forced me to finish my homework before I could go out." He puffs as he reaches us.

"Don't worry about it, Liam. We were just getting to the important stuff anyway." Kira tells the younger teen. All of us then start discussing how we plan on finding Tracy. After about 10 minutes of discussion, we decide to split up into groups and search the town. Surely with us and the Sheriff's department searching for Tracy, it won't take too long to find her. Once the groups are sorted, we walk out of the loft. My group, which consists of Scott, Lydia, Liam and I, walk towards my jeep. We jump into the car, with Scott and I sitting in the front and Lydia and Liam sitting in the back. I start the car and pull out of the parking lot. "So, where do you want to look first?" I ask as I glance in the mirror to look at Lydia. "Um, maybe the hospital?" She suggests after a moment's hesitation. I nod in response before returning my gaze to the road, spending up a little.
