Scott POV

I hear Stiles rush out of the room to go get some water. I internally scream for my muscles to move, even just the tiniest bit, but it's no use. The kanima venom really does its job well. I probably won't be able to move for a couple hours at least. Tracy got a good swipe at my chest. I groan in frustration, wishing I could get up and help Stiles instead of lying on the floor, completely useless. I can't even look around me. I'm stuck at looking up at the ceiling. I listen to everyone's increased heartbeats, which must be due to the overwhelming stress because of the events that happened just before. I think the worst thing about being paralyzed is that you can't feel anything either. My whole body except for my face is completely numb. I couldn't feel it when Stiles was holding my hand, but I knew he was, since I could see him doing so out of the corner of my eye. I hate the feeling of being paralyzed. Not only is it just a terrifying experience, it makes me feel not in control of my own body, which of course brings back memories of Samantha controlling me and almost made me kill Stiles. I groan again in frustration, trying to get rid of all the horrible thoughts swirling around inside of me.

"Don't like being paralyzed from the neck down, Scott?" Liam asks from somewhere beside me.

"Nah, it's the best feeling in the world. I always wanted to not be able to move." I reply sarcastically.

"Well, well. Stiles must be rubbing off on you, Scott." I hear the Sheriff chuckle from somewhere, taking note of my sarcasm.

"Maybe." I agree, starting to feel a bit better due to the small topic change.

"Can someone please explain to me what is going on?" Natalie yells out fearfully.

"What about?" Liam asks, trying to be oblivious.

"What about? What about?!" Natalie shrieks incredulously.

"Calm down, Mom. I can explain it." Lydia says in a soothing tone.

"You better have a very good reason young lady, or you'll... Be grounded." Natalie replies sternly. I personally don't know how much good grounding Lydia will do if it is just because the supernatural world actually exists, but I'm not a parent, so what do I know? "What is Tracy? What did she become?" Natalie asks in a trembling voice.

"As far as we know, she's a kanima." Lydia says.

"Okay... Wait, did you know that Scott and Liam are werewolves, Lydia? Did you know about all of this stuff? How long have you known? What was that scream? Why was Stiles talking about using water to heal him and John? Why were Stiles' eyes glowing green? How did he hold Tracy up against the wall? What is he? Is he dangerous?" Natalie asks rapidly. Wow, she loves asking questions, doesn't she? "Calm down, Mom. One question at a time." Lydia chuckles softly. Natalie sighs in defeat. "Good. Okay, so, yeah I knew Scott and Liam were werewolves... Along with some of my other friends. I know a lot about the supernatural world and what really goes on in this town. I've known about this stuff since sophomore year. That scream of mine was no ordinary scream. I'm a banshee, just like grandma was. I've learned to control my powers, which can be very useful." Lydia begins to explain to her mother. I'm sure Natalie has a hard time processing this, but she has no other choice. She was just attacked by Tracy the kanima, after all. Not to mention seeing Liam and I in our werewolf forms. "As for Stiles and John..." Lydia trails off a little bit, hesitating about what she should say next. "It's okay, Lydia. You can tell her. After what she has been through tonight, she deserves to know." I hear the Sheriff tell Lydia. "Tell me what?" Natalie asks in a suspicious tone.
