Kara POV
Stiles didn't come home last night. I usually wouldn't be worried, but with the way he was acting yesterday... I am worried. Possibly very worried. I pace up and down the living room, biting my fingernails, not sure what to do. From the corner of my eye, I can see Isaac watching with amusement.
"Kara, calm down. It's okay. Stiles is a big boy, he can take care of himself." Isaac laughs as he continues to watch me. I stop pacing and turn to Isaac. "I know that, but I can't get rid of this feeling that something bad has happened." I admit to my boyfriend fearfully. Isaac stops laughing when he sees how worried and serious I am.
"You didn't see him yesterday, Isaac. He was acting really off. I know it was his anniversary with Scott and all, but Stiles has never acted like that before." I tell him as I walk over to Isaac. He frowns, now starting to feel concerned himself.
"How was he acting then?" Isaac asks me.
"I don't know, really silly and stupid. An airy fairy." I reply. Isaac hums as he tries to think of a response.
"Have you tried calling him?" Isaac suggests.
"Yes, I have. Many times. His phone is switched off." I inform him sadly.
"What about Scott?" Isaac asks.
"He's just not answering me. That's worrying me a little too." I respond, biting my lip after I say it.
"Maybe you should just go over to Scott's house. I'm sure Stiles is there with Scott, both of them safe and sound. Stiles probably didn't go home last night because he and Scott were having too much fun, if you know what I mean." Isaac tries to help me feel better, smiling at me comfortingly. "Yeah, maybe..." I sigh, knowing that is the most reasonable option, but I can't help but still feel uneasy.
"Everything will be fine, Kara. I'm sure of it." Isaac tells me firmly as he squeezes my hands comfortingly. I smile at him gratefully. "Thanks, Isaac. You always know how to make me feel better." I tell my boyfriend appreciatively. Isaac smiles softly back at me before leaning in and gives me a light, quick kiss on the lips. "Of course, Kara. And I know you would do the same thing for me." Isaac responds.
"Why can't you come with me to Scott's house?" I whine a little, still holding onto Isaac's hands.
"Because I've got a lot of homework and assignments to do. If I want to, you know, not fail my classes, I should probably try and get that done. I had to see you today for at least a bit though. Otherwise, I might be going crazy without you while doing my homework." Isaac explains to me, a small blush appearing on his face. I giggle and smile sweetly at the werewolf's response. "Aww, Isaac. You'll survive without me." I tell him.
"I'm not so sure about that." Isaac shrugs.
"Well, if it makes you feel better, I feel the same about you." I reply honestly. Isaac blushes a little bit more, and I can feel my own cheeks heating up too. Isaac quickly checks the time on his phone. "Alright, I really should get going now. Call me if you need to or if something is wrong. You should go around to Scott's house and talk to him, just to sort things out and help ease your mind." Isaac says to me. I nod quickly.
"Yeah, okay." I reply.
"I'll see you soon, alright?" Isaac assures me.
"Yeah, see you soon." I reply with a smile before pulling Isaac into tight comforting hug.
"I love you." I admit to my cute curly haired boyfriend.
