Sleep on me, feel the rhythm in my chest, just breathe

I toss and turn, unable to sleep easily. My mind was racing with anxious thoughts, along with the constant reminder that tomorrow I had a massive exam that was extremely important for my future. "You won't remember anything. You won't do good. You're going to muck up your future, and it'll be all your fault. What if you miss your alarm? What if you're late to the exam? What if the examiner forgets to pick up your paper at the end? What if-"
"Y/N, are you ok, my love?" I hear Josh's groggy voice murmur beside me.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just go back to sleep," I whisper. I turn over so that I'm facing him, and give him a reassuring smile.
"You're nervous, aren't you?" Josh says, smiling a little sadly at me. He knows I've got an exam tomorrow, and that I get very anxious over them.
"A little," I admit. He rolls onto his side, leaning up in his arm, and yawns. He then moves onto his back, which is strange as he usually sleeps on his stomach, one arm wrapped around me as I curl up next to him. Now he pats his chest, signalling for me to lie on top of him.
"C'mere," he says softly. I just nod, a little unsure of how to do this. I sort of get on top of him, and rest my head on his chest, his fingers playing with my hair. I feel the duvet get pulled on top of us like a safety blanket, and I sigh.
"You're very tense," Josh observes, "just relax. The more you worry, the less sleep you get, and the less sleep you get, the more tired you'll be tomorrow."
"You're right," I say, moving up a little so that my face is staring at his neck, and I'm lying across Josh.
"Aren't you going to suffocate in there?" Josh chuckles. I just yawn, and I feel him move upwards slightly. Grumbling, I cling onto him. "C'mon, babe. Just lie on my chest, it'll be more comfortable."
"But you're shirtless," I argue back, already half asleep.
"And when have you ever complained about that?" I'm moved downwards a little to his chest. I feel his chest rise and fall with each breath. It's very soothing, and I soon feel myself falling asleep, finally at peace.
