*9 months later*

"Today's the big day," my mum says, waltzing into my room and opening the curtains wide, causing sunlight to stream into my room. I burry under the covers, hissing at the light. Then I look up at my calendar, and see the date.
21st July 2017.
Otherwise known as the day I am getting married.
"Agh, I have to get up! Today's the actual day!" I say, literally jumping out of bed and rushing around my room, causing my mum to laugh.
"Yes, it is. Jenna and your maid of honor are coming over to pick you up at 7:30 this morning. Quick, you've got an hour to get ready." I grab a random outfit, and rush into the bathroom to get washed and dressed in black jeans and a grey t-shirt. Once that's over, I get some toast for breakfast, and wait patiently. My phone dings with a text from my fiancé Josh:

Hey, my wife-to-be,

I hope you've had a good sleep, and that you're ready for this afternoon. I love you loads, and see you down the aisle.

- Jishwa

I'm about to reply, but the knock at the door startles me as Jenna and my best friend - and maid of honor - walk in.
"C'mon, Y/N, we haven't got all day," My best friend says, pulling me up.
"Alright, alright. Gosh, I'm nervous." I put my phone away in my jean pocket, and turn to Jenna.
"Don't be nervous, Y/N. I'm sure you'll be fine. I know I was nervous for my wedding. But here's a tip; when your dad hands you to Josh, and the actually ceremony starts, just pretend none of the audience are there. Just pretend it's you, Josh and the vicar." I hug them both.
"Thanks guys. Now let's go make me look at least a bit presentable." We all laugh and head out the door.

Josh's point of view

"Abigail, I can't believe the day is the day," I confess to my little sister, Abigail, who's helping me to sort out my suit for the day.
"Me neither. But you'll be fine, Josh. It's obvious she means the world to you. Now I've got to go and catch up with Ashley and the other bridesmaids. JORDAN! TYLER! GET UP HERE RIGHT NOW! I'VE GOT TO GO!" Abigail shouts down the stairs.
"Ok, we're coming. Don't worry," I hear my younger brother, Jordan, say. I just sit on my bed, fiddling around with something I got to help with my anxiety. Oh gosh, how on earth am I going to say the wedding vows? What if I accidentally say 'I don't' instead of 'I do'? What-
My thoughts are suddenly cut off as a giant thing jumps onto me, licking my face. I'm not sure whether to start laughing or freaking out as I'm on my back, the thing practically jumping up and down on me. Then I realise what it is; it's Jordan's dog, William, who's somehow made his way upstairs.
"Alright, buddy, I think it's time you leave," I hear hear Jordan say, taking the dog off me, and leading him out of my bedroom.
"You ok, dude?" Tyler says, taking my hand and pulling me up.
"I'm ok, but my anxiety is getting to me," I mumble. Tyler looks at me.
"You'll be fine, bud. She loves you loads, you know that, right?"
"She never answered my text I sent her."
"Aw, bro, she's probably getting ready," Jordan says leaning against my door.
"You sure?" I say quietly. Tyler sits down beside me, and rubs my back.
"Sure. Now let's see that suit on ya."

Y/N's point of view

"Y/N, your hair!" My mum shrieks.
"What?" I say innocently, although I can't help but hide my smirk.
"It's so SHORT! And it's BLUE! Why?"
"Because," I chuckle, "who needs long, natural coloured hair?"
"They're going to think you're a boy."
"At least I'm wearing a dress?" I offer.
"Honestly, what are we going to do with you?" Mum laughs, ruffling my short hair.
"I guess I get married?" I laugh.
"C'mon, let's get your makeup done."
I sit in the chair, and just stare at my reflection as my makeup is done.
"Wow. You look lovely." My dad says, coming into the room.
"Thank you, Dad," I say quietly, looking down nervously.
"Wait! We need the brooch," Ashley, one of Josh's younger siblings, says, pinning the white rose brooch on my wedding dress.
"Prefect," Dad says, tearing up a little. Mum blows her nose into a tissue.
"You'll have to save the tears for later, Mum," I laugh, hugging them both.
"Shall we go?" Dad says, holding out his arm for me to link with. I take a deep breath.
"Let's do this."
