"Aw, look at the lovebirds cuddled up together," a voice says, jolting Kat awake. Rob, Rory and Chris are all looking down at her, Freya and Rou.
"Morning guys," Kat says, getting up and going to the kitchen to make breakfast. Freya licks Rou's face before going over to investigate what Kat is doing.
"I suppose we better get breakfast ready," Rob says, going to get a bowl from the cupboard to make some porridge.
"Oi, Rou, do you want food?" Chris says to a still sleeping Rou.
"Huh? Yeah, sure," Rou says, getting up. There's an uncomfortable silence as the men take in Rou's bloodstained jumper and tracksuit bottoms.
"What the fuck happened to you?" Rory asks, looking concerned at Rou.
"Oh, um, the cabin got invaded by that couple. You know, Mitchell and Kerry? The ones who searched our cabin yesterday?"
"Yeah, I remember."
"Well, they stabbed me right near the heart, and they slashed Frey's paw."
"Blimey! Do you think they were trying to kill you?" Chris asks Rou.
"Yeah, knowing my luck, they might've been. Now, let's get some breakfast."

"I SAW YOU LAST NIGHT WITH HER!"
"AND? WHAT'S IT GOT TO DO WITH YOU?"
"YOU STILL LOVE HER, DON'T YOU?"
Kat listens intently downstairs in the kitchen whilst eating breakfast with Rou, Rob, Chris and Rory. Josh and Debby are upstairs in their bedroom, arguing loudly with each other.
"Cor blimey, I'm sure am glad I'm single," Rou says before taking a sip of Gin and Tonic.
"How are you having that for a DRINK at BREAKFAST?" Kat asks him.
"It's brunch, not breakfast, dear Kat," Rou replies with a grin.
"True," she replies, eating her cereal, and listening to the argument upstairs, despite her heart thumping madly.
Rou says he's single. And you're single. So, you guys should totally go out, the romantic side of Kat's brain thinks.
Yeah, but you've only known him a day; he could end up like how Josh was, the sensible side of her brain points out. Kat's distracted by Freya, who's jumped up on the table and is trying to drink the milk from Kat's bowl.
"No, Freya," Kat says, picking Freya up and putting her down in front of her food bowl.
"Are they ever going to come down for brunch?" Rory wonders out loud as the argument upstairs reaches breaking point.
"I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD'NT FRATERNISE WITH THE ENEMY! AND NOW WE'RE LIVING WITH THEM!"
"Well that's a bit harsh," Rob says, just as there's a reply upstairs.
"STOP BEING DRAMATIC! Now, I'm going downstairs for some food, OK?"
"FINE! I'll go downstairs and see how Freya is."
"Oh hell no," Kat whispers under her breath before Debby comes downstairs, smiling at the men and Kat before going to pester Freya.
"So, what was that argument about, or is it confidential?" Kat asks Debby cautiously; she doesn't want to start another argument.
"Oh, you know how boyfriends can be," Debby replies whilst scratching Freya under the chin.
"Yeah, sure," Kat says with a small smile. Freya starts wiggling in Debby's arms, trying to get Kat's breakfast.
"No," Debby says in a baby voice to Freya, "come here." She hugs Freya tightly, and Freya yowls loudly.
"STOP IT!" Kat yells, getting up and trying to get Freya out of Debby's grip.
"Hey, hey, what's going on here?" The two women stop fighting to see Rou glaring at them. Instantly, Kat becomes scared; she hates it when anyone is angry with her because she hates conflict.
"I-I'll go upstairs," Kat says, rushing out of the kitchen and up the stairs.
"You forgot your cereal," Rob yells after her.
"I'm not hungry anymore," Kat calls down to them.

Once she's upstairs, Kat bumps into someone.
It's Josh.
"Oh, crap, I'm sorry," he says, blushing madly.
"It's ok. What was that argument between you and Debby about?"
"I-I need to admit something to you. Come in here," Josh says, dragging Kat into the bathroom and locking the door behind her.
"What's up?" Kat asks, glaring at him.
"I don't love Debby. I was only dating her to make myself feel better about you, but coming here, on this island, and seeing you just made me realise something."
"What did it make you realise?" Kat asks Josh, and although a part of her can guess what he's going to say next, it still shocks her.
"I love you, Kat."
