While Jake was falling Wix managed to slip out of his pocket and tried to carry him, but it only worked for a second as he was too big and too heavy. "oh no!" Wix gasped as she watched Jake fall inevitably. just before he touched the forest however a figure moved out of the air and snatched him up setting him safely down. Wix flew down as fast and gently as she could. "it's you!" Wix yelled. the figure was revealed to be a black haired woman with a cold expression over her face. "Mai!" Wix shouted in joy as she flew up to her and hugged her. "hey, Wix. haven't seen you since last month." Mai said. "you know I've been looking around Earth for this loser." she wisecracked. "i see." Mai said. "uh, that was where you were supposed to laugh, but i guess you're not much of a joker huh?" Wix said. "yes, i have absolutely no humor at all." Mai said. "uh, okay, well how come you're here?" Wix asked. "was gonna drop by to see Maya at the mansion and see if she needed anything, but then i found Jake fighting with someone." "oh that's Akio, he's the one behind that incident that made Jake have to fight himself." Wix explained. "oh, then he is an enemy?" Mai asked. "well, he's more of a freinemy i think?" Wix said. "okay." Mai said. Wix looked at Jake and thought "what are we gonna do with him?" Jake looked lifeless on the ground sleeping.

meanwhile in Jake's dream. "whoa, where am i?" i asked. i was floating, but then a room appeared to be being built instantly with walls and floor suddenly floating together to make a room. "now this is trippy." i thought. a dark red carpet appear to roll down the entire hall leading to the throne room. i looked in front of me and saw a throne, with someone sitting on it. "like my designs? you should, after all we're the same person." a deep voice asked. "i know you, hello me." i said. "as if you weren't expecting this to happen again? you know i'll keep appearing until i return." future cyborg me said. "what do you want now? last time you killed an alternate version of m-our mother." i said. "ah, so you admit that this isn't just a dream?" he asked. "no, f course this isn't real, after all, i already dealt with you." i said. future me got up from his throne and walked around in his kingly robe with his hands in the air like he was praying to something "but you see, i am not dead. i've returned traveled to the past and linked myself with you!" he stared at me, and all i could see in him was pure hatred. "isn't this a lovely surprise? Maya's here too!" future me said quickly pulling Maya from the back of his throne. "now let me show you something." he said. i continued to stare onward wondering what he might do. "I've noticed you've used the white flame, so this will be harder to watch for more than one reason." future me said smiling and then quickly stabbing Maya's heart with his version of our sword. "Maya!" i said. i stopped for a minute trying to keep my self in check. future me just laughed "you see? you can't keep up this heartless act for much longer, sooner or later you'll-" he snapped his fingers and suddenly i was on the floor holding my knees up to my face sulking, but i didn't understand why exactly. "-be like this" future me said appearing out of nowhere in front of me. i leaned my self up against the wall to look straight at him. "what are you doing to me, and why?" i asked. "BECAUSE!" he shouted. "you turned my offer down. and not only that, but that wretched angel me also just stood there and watched you kill me. we could've been a god if we combined together!" he explained.

a smile crept over his face "and also, so i can try out some new methods i learned. i hear they can break a normal weak willed person in just an instant, but i think i'll be slow with you, slowly breaking you every time you fall asleep, oh how wonderful it will be to see the day you become too afraid to even blink." future me laughed wickedly and then vanished after he snapped his fingers again causing everything to shift, and suddenly the wall was starting to appear above me, but now i noticed it was a perch and i quickly hung on to it as reality went sideways. "why can't you see it yet?" a voice asked furious. "see what?" i asked. "why can't you just see reality as it is and not as you want it to be?" "wait, ME? is that you again?" i asked. i heard another snap of the fingers and the world i was in shifted again, except now my grip was slipping and i fell down in an endless abyss of water with a big SPLASH! after a few moments of hopelessly sinking i felt myself drowning, except i wasn't drowning. i mean my body was burning and i could feel myself going under every few minutes, but at the same time i wasn't permanently dieing. all i could do was feel hopeless, as i couldn't use my powers in my own mind for some reason. i just stared up at the blue water as i continued to endlessly sink deeper and deeper. my final act was reaching out my hand after hearing Maya's voice say "Get up you lazy bum!" with that i woke up in a forest with Mai and Wix staring at me. "oh goodness! your heart was constantly stopping and then starting again!" Wix said relieved. "what? so, wait, was that a dream or not?" i asked. Mai and Wix looked at each other and then Mai asked "what do you mean?" "oh, uh, never mind for now, forget about it." i said. i closed my eyes grabbing Wix in hand and then teleported to onto Maya's Presence.
