Journey Through the Omnipotent World 2: New Era

Samantha, furious, rushes towards Lay at an incredible speed, but Lay simply sticks out his hand and stops Samantha's momentum instantly with her fist in his hand now, Lay grabs it tight and flings Samantha into the air. Lay looks up and simply jumps lightly, but is also flung into the air just as high as Samantha was. "looks like you've made this an air battle, huh?" Samantha jokes. "yeah, well it would be hard to repair your HQ is we fought on the ground." Lay remarks. Samantha growls asking "so, you don't think my base is made to withstand our powers!?" Lay replies with "well, we do have a tremendous ability, and with it comes an enormous potential for...well-" but just then Lay and Samantha get distracted by a gigantic explosion they hear from the other side of the planet. "that came from-" Lay asked "yeah, where you're thinking is correct, it came from that old Crossed Lines HQ, the one Maya was staying at." as the two are beginning to question what happened....

Somewhere else a huge crater is all that's left of the mansion that was being accompanied by Jak, Akio, and Maya. through the crater Jake and Akio are unconscious, and Maya is nowhere to be seen. a figure gets up and swipes their head back and forth shaking off the dust, and debris from the mansion, however a figure of a small and young high school girl is revealed. "wh-what happened here? where's the mansion?" the girl asked frantically. Jake and Akio slowly just to wake up from the blast, and try to recall what happened. "ow. my head." me, Jake said. "what did you do?" Akio shouted at me. "I did nothing." i answered him. "what did you do?" i asked him. "nothing, i remember we were talking for a few seconds, and then a blinding light, and now the mansion i created is gone." Akio answered. "well, if you didn't do it? then?-" suddenly i remember my evil self saying he was returning, and i knew who had caused the explosion. "i know who's behind it, but it's a long story, so just follow me and try to keep up." i said to Akio. "shut up, i can still kick your butt any day." Akio yelled. "good to know your sense of humor still works." i said and quickly closing my eyes and focusing on any irregularities on the planet. i found a lock on a presence, that felt like my own, but only at- the floating island. i opened my eyes and said "come on." i closed my eyes again and imagined the place i was thinking of in my head, and me being there, and suddenly i was standing in the middle of the street where markets were doing their usually thing. i looked behind me and saw Akio with a dissatisfied looked on his face. "look, we can have that rematch afterwards, but right now, i know what he wants. he wants to see me suffer, while i'm still fragile from my White flame soul." i told Akio. he just continued to look mad, and i decided to end it there, mostly because i saw myself in front of me holding Maya in his arm. "so, we meet yet again?" future me taunted. "shall i kill her, by either sword? or neck snapping?" he asked me. "neither." i replied. "too late." he said and then stabbed Maya in the chest. "why did you do that?" i asked. "because, i want to see you suffer, and finally see reality for what it truly is, and not what believe." future me explained. Akio raised an eyebrow, and then suddenly shot a white blast of energy straight at my future self. future me caught it, however, and then redirected it back at Akio knocking him on the ground. "you see, I've many things where i have been. i learned about the overseers and their intention on shaping reality as a whole to better fit their needs, but i wont let them, and it starts with my intent on killing you." future me rushed at me with his sword, but i blocked it causing both of them to clash, and then we were flung back as an earth quake shook the ground.

"ugh, not the best thing to do i guess." i said stumbling to get up. future me wasn't as clumsy, however and got quickly, and then just as fast preceded to pick up Maya's dead body. "you wanna know somehitn'? this isn't her, I've locked her far away somewhere she won't see the light of day, or the dark of night. this was just merely another one of those replaceable dolls from another universe, but changing the subject, why can't you see it, yet? huh? why!?" future me looked crazier than ever. "what's wrong with you!?" i shouted. "YOU!" he screamed rushing towards me with the outline of his figure starting to show a shimmering glow of black light. "AHH!" he screamed as he swung his sword at me. i dodged just in time and managed to stab future me in the back causing him great pain. he fell on the floor with his right hand around his body holding the wound on his back. "fine..ugh...if you don't believe me, then I'll show you the truth behind all of this, this, lie!" with a snap of his left hand's fingers reality seemed to break as everything cracked and the shattered into white. "w-what is this?" i asked astonished. "this is where the overseers see reality, but good thing i broke it." future me chuckled. "you're insane." i told him. "yes, we've been saying that to ourselves, since around 7th or 8th grade." future me laughed viciously with his wicked eyes staring me down. "what do plan on accomplishing with this?" i asked him. "showing you the truth, and breaking you to point where i won't even have to kill you, you'll do it yourself." future me's body began rapidly healing, and i realized we could still use our powers. "how come?-" i was interrupted "how come we still have Omnipotence? well, this place exists outside of reality, meaning anything we want to do is well within our grasp." future me explained. "so, where are those overseers you talked about?" i asked. future me looked up, and what i saw 5 huge beings in black cloaks hovering in the air on their own separate chairs. "whoa." was all i could say, because now my adventure was starting to look much, much, more like some comic book, with anime feels all over it.
