Journey Through the Omnipotent World 2: New Era

I was in shock for quite some time, but after a while i looked at future me, and calmed myself down. "welp, cya." i told him and turned away walking as i tried to repair reality, and put the pieces of it back together. future me stop gawking, and noticed what i was doing, and said, and shocked shouted "WHAT!? you can't just leave! you're not allowed!" i turned to look at him "why not? this is of no concern of mine, nor do i care enough to actually fight you for some stupid reason." i told him. "oh, i get it, you want to be the cool guy, huh?" he asked me. "no. i am just too lazy to be bothered to fight you for such pathetic reasons." i told my alternate future self. "you mean like when someone made a pathetic attempt to save a girl just so he could talk to them?" future me shot back. "heh, like that's gonna get me to listen, or care." i told him. he gritted his teeth and charged at me. i looked behind me and quickly pulled out my sword, and blocked his own sword. "GRR! why won't you just listen!" he shouted. i struggled to keep my balance as he was pushing me back, but all i could do was use my mind to make my strength at least equally matched with his, but he had other plans. "Why don't i just bring the real Maya here? hmm? maybe then i could kill her and make you tremble." future me threatened. i stayed calm knowing what he was trying to do. "pathetic. you think you can weaken me by killing some girl i barely even know?" i asked him. "even so, you seemed to care a lot for her when she was kidnapped." future me questioned. "that's because our talk was rudely interrupted, i wanted to finish it." i told him. "and yet you couldn't...not then, and now." he told me as he pushed me back with all of his might. i flew back really far away from him on the ground. "now let me show you." he told me. he rose his left hand behind him, and shot a black beam at the overseers who were just sitting there defenseless. "you see, they manipulate reality, but they also are too slow to move, which is why they haven't dealt with us, yet." future me explained.

"why...errggh...why are you telling me this?" i asked as i struggled to get on one knee. "because, I've just killed them." he told me. i looked up and saw nothing left of the overseers. "why kill them? they seemed harmless?" i asked him. "WRONG!" he shouted. "they abused their power! they manipulate reality as they see fit! they took all of our fates and used them for their amusement!" i started to see a tears run down my future self's face. "Mel-" he stopped himself and then went back to his angry frown. "i lost everything in my time, and my universe, because of them, and because of my younger self's ignorance. now it's time all of me lost the same thing." "you are insane, and on an even more unbelievable level than i thought." i said. "shut up, and watch." future me said suddenly holding Maya in his arms. "now, we're on even footing." he told me before brutally snapping her neck. "heh, i don't know why, but i just got a sudden interest in killing you." i said. "good, good, now come at me with your best powers." future me seemed to be growing in size. the black glow around him was become more fierce and even starting to warp his body. his fingernails grew long and teeth became similar to a werewolves. "NOW IT'S TIME YOU FACE DEATH!" future me shouted through the echoey white space. i got to my feet and thought "never thought i'd have to use this. it's still unfinished, and highly unstable." i closed my eyes and pictured a black flame being lit in an empty space, where a soul should be. i screamed in pain as i felt my own body being transformed. future me with his mind still intact realized what i had done. "YOU FOOL! THE BLACK FLAME WAS NEVER FINISHED! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT WILL DO!" i looked at him and smiled through the pain "yeah, but, because of it being unstable, who knows how much power i can generate now?" my body began becoming much more beast like. i can't explain it exactly, think of Naruto's one tailed form, but instead of the colors they used it was more a black and white, and instead of a cloak of chakra, it was more like actually fur. of course my height and size rapidly increased as well. after everything part of my being was now more or less a monster, my mind slipped under as well. I can't tell you what happened from a personal experience on what i did, but i did find out that the battle had been so great future me had retreated one minute into the fight. after that I'm sure i ran amok for a few hours and then woke up outside of reality, but what happened inside it while i wasn't?
