Bad Timings // Dan Howell X Reader

I arrive back at the flat with Charlotte and 4 drinks.

"What took you so long?" Dan said as he came out of the hallway

"Tell you later" I say smiling

We go into the living room and Charlotte hands Phil his drink.

"What should we do today?" Phil asks to nobody in particular

"Umm I don't mind." Dan says

"Well I've got some stuff I need to do for work, So I'm gunna head home  so I can get it done." I say

"Oh okay. See you later?" Dan says

"Of course." I smile giving him a kiss

"Love you." He says

"Love you too." I reply leaving with Charlotte.

Once we get back to the flat I head straight to my room to get my work done. It's been a while since I've been at work so I had better catch up on everything.

Time Skip

I look at the time on my phone to see that it's 7:45 pm. I walk into the living room to see Charlotte watching 'Stranger Things'

"Hey." I say sitting down next to her.

"Hey, you hungry?" She asks

"Yeah, have you ordered anything?"

"No I was waiting for you."

"You didn't have to." I say smiling

"No it's okay now what should we have?"

"Chinese?" I suggest

"You read my mind." IM GETTING CHINESE TONIGHT AYYY -G

After waiting about a half hour our food is finally here. We grab it and watch some tv in the living room.

"I'm probably going to stay at Dan and Phil's place tonight if that's okay?" I say

"Yeah that's fine." She replies smiling.

Once I have finished my food I get up grab some stuff and head over to see Dan.

I walk in and hear Dan talking in the office so I go up and look through the doorway. They both see me so I wave.

"Oh hi." Phil says smiling.

Dan turns around to see me and smiles.

"Hello." He says getting up and giving me a hug.

"Look who just showed up." Phil says gesturing me to go to him.

"It's y/n!"

"Oh hello!" I say smiling.

"We're doing a gaming live." Dan says putting his hand round my waist.

"Oh well I will leave u to it then." I smile whilst walking down the stairs.

I hear them speaking but I can't make out what they are saying till...

"Y/n?!" Dan shouts

I walk back up the stairs into the office.

"That's me."

"They want you to join, do you want to?"

"Umm Yeah sure, it's not like I've got anything better to do." I joke.

Time Skip

"Animal crossing, Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing!" I say

"Yes!"

"Which one though?" Phil asks

"Winter."

"Good choice" Dan says

The game goes to winter and the race is counting down.

"Yes! Okay right..." I say concentrating

"You know this is actually a really nice place. I wish it was real." I say

"Why?" Dan says

"I dunno but it's so beautiful. Imagine a wedding there?" I say not taking my eyes off the screen.

"Yeah I suppose that would be nice." Dan says

We continue to play and Dan wins followed by Phil then me.

After the live we all go and watch some tv. About an hour later I look at the time and see that it's 11pm.

"I'm gunna go to sleep." I yawn.

"I'll come and join you." Dan says

"Good night phil." I say smiling

"Night." Dan shouts

After getting changed me and dan lie in bed.

"Dan have you ever thought about marriage?" I ask curiously

"Yes and no, I've never thought to much into it, what about you?"

"Yes but I don't think I'm ready for a commitment like that with anyone yet."

"Yeah same. But I still love you." He says cuddling me tighter.

"I love you too." I say falling asleep in his arms.
