Bad Timings // Dan Howell X Reader

I walk into my kitchen and pour myself a glass of wine when I hear a knock at the door.

"Who is it?!" I ask but get no response.

I swap my towel for a robe and open the door.

I already feel the tears in my eyes when I see the chocolate brown ones that I am oh too familiar with.

"Y/n please I won't be long and I don't expect you to say anything so listen."

"What has happened recently has changed everything, for other people it may not have seem that much but it changed us and you were- are everything to me. I came round to say goodbye and I will see you after our tour, I hope." He explains as he lifts my hand and places a small black box with note in them.

"I love you." He says and walks away

I close the door with no words that are able to escape my mouth and the same 6 words kept repeating in my mind

I hate you
I love you...

I walk into the kitchen place the box on the side and pick up the note that reads:

' Y/n,

Open this when you are ready.

Dan x'

I decide not to open it, so I take it and place it onto my bedside table.

I walk back into the kitchen and see Charlotte burst in.

"I'm back!" She says carrying about 5 bags.

"What did you buy?" I ask deciding not to tell her about Dan.

"A few things we are going to need for tonight."

I take a look inside and see almost every kind of snack.

"Well... we're not going to get hungry." I joke.
