As the next few days passed, things were somewhat normal. I had plenty more encounters with Dib and Zim's constant feuding to keep me occupied, and Dib even showed up to my house one time to which I sent him back home because I wasn't interested in child play. To be honest, what he had to show me might have been interesting, but how annoying he was really took away from that. As I pulled into the driveway of my little home, I let out a content sigh. Finally home. I had just dropped my sister off at my parents', and hung out over there for a while, catching up with my family. I stepped out of the car, but was taken aback by what looked like a shooting star heading straight towards me. No, wait...not a shooting star...but something on fire. But what was on fire? It flew past me and I heard a loud screaming coming from the flying mess as it finally crashed in the woods far behind my house.

I ran into the woods, using the light on my cell phone to lead the way. If I'm being honest, I had no idea where I was going, I just knew that something was telling me to find whatever it was that crashed. After about 30 minutes of aimlessly walking, I began to grow weary. I checked my cell phone to try to lead my way back home but was disappointed to see that I had no service way out in the middle of the woods. What a surprise. After walking for about 5 more minutes, I noticed what looked like the light from a fire just a little deeper into the forest. I dashed towards the scene and was astounded at what I found. A purple ship in flames, and two trees crashed down. It was clear that the ship had hit one of the trees, and another tree must have been knocked down in the process. The flames weren't high, and seemed to be going out on their own already, but still, I wondered if maybe I should alert authorities. I gently stepped forward to get a closer look at the ship, crushing the small flames on the grass down to ashes.

'Wow, Dib would be going crazy right now,' I thought, continuing to look around the scene some more. Until a CRAZY thought hit my head. "No.." I said aloud as I ran to the side of the ship, looking for a way to open the vehicle. There was a small person inside...a small, GREEN person, to be exact. I acted upon instinct and took a branch off of the ground. Using the branch, I smashed it against the windshield and reached in over the computer's keyboard to drag the person out. "Zim?" I asked, lying him across the grass. He didn't respond, so I went to see if there was a pulse at the end of his neck. In doing so, my hand brushed against the end of his hair, and I was shocked at what the result was. His hair slipped off of the side of his head, revealing that it was a wig all along. I was confused. His hair did look odd, but a wig? I would have never thought- I covered my mouth from screaming as I fell backwards at what was revealed next. With his wig completely half off of his head now, what seemed like an antennae popped straight into the air. It appeared to be damaged.

"Zim..you really are an alien, aren't you.." I whispered under my breath, but he was still unconscious. I had no idea what to do. Should I call somebody? No, I can't expose his identity. I can't leave him here..right? I glanced down at his motionless body and decided to try and bring him back to his house. If I could ever guide us out of here. I picked him up, and he turned out to be light. Not much of a shocker, as he was very thin. When I finally made it back to his house, I knocked on his door, hoping maybe someone else was there that could help him out. What was I supposed to do with an injured alien? I got no response from the first knock, so I decided to try again...and still got nothing. Growing more frustrated as the minutes passed, I rang the doorbell three times, and finally, the door swung open. "What's goin' on? I'm tryna sleep in here!!" A tiny robot asked, but when he saw me carrying Zim, he suddenly seemed to understand. "What's wrong with Master?" I blinked, trying to comprehend what was happening once more, and finally found the words I needed. "Um, he crashed his ship. Can you help?" The robot nodded, and let me inside. "Put 'em on the couch. Lemme go get the ship!!" He activated jets under his feet and was gone in an instant towards the direction I pointed him in. In the meantime, I decided to just put Zim on the couch like the robot suggested.

I sat in silence for a minute next to him, not really knowing what to do, until he finally started twitching. He groaned a little, then sat up straight. "GIR! What is the meaning of this? How did I...WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He screamed, backing up against the far end of the couch and I rolled my eyes. "Look, maybe it's best to save your voice to thank me, since, you know, I literally carried you all the way back here?" "Wait a minute..so you retrieved me from the scene of the crash and brought me back to my home base? Huh.." He looked a little confused about why I would have done that. "Listen, your little friend went to go get your ship, but in the meantime, I think you have some explaining to do." I told him, gesturing to the single antennae that was still visible. He reached his hand up to his head slowly and when he realized, he pulled his wig back down frantically. After a moment of sitting in silence, he gathered the courage to speak. "You have experience with human medical practices?" He asked, glaring at me and I nodded with a slight smile. "I am in medical school, actually." "Can you help me? Then, maybe...I'll answer your questions."
