Chapter 9

Abbie's POV
A day after the meeting and finding out the gladers got out, I immediately got info on who made it slowly with the first two being Thomas and Teresa then Minho then Frypan. I'm still getting new information every hour with a guard coming in and out from my office with the new info.
The whole time between them coming in my mind was a load of memories I had in the glade such as before starting my job in the glade as a Med-Jack, getting to know the boys, then my crush on Newt which formed, and then the confession. A simple going out into the forest area and a confession.
'Looking back it was sweet. Not even a month after that THEY ended up taking me.' I thought before another guard came in.
"Who else now?" I asked.
"The news actually came with me." He said before moving to the side to reveal Dr. Paige.
I stood up and welcomed her in before the guard went to stay outside.
"So like I asked before who else?" I asked.
"Abbie, you seem to be getting back into more work. Might explain why." She asked and looked around my office.
"That was the glade you sent me to for a few months with no memory, it was likely I would get to know them better." I said.
"Your relationships with them seemed to be fake like how Theresa is starting to realize her loyalty to us." She said.
"She spent less time then how long it would take for you to survive out in the maze with those grievers." I said.
"Well I must be heading to a different meeting now." She said and started to head out before I stopped her and asked, "Who else?"
"Leon and Newt." She said leaving me dumbstruck.
"Their just entering another hell." I muttered thinking about what's gonna happen again.
