~ Y / n's POV ~

As I was fighting myself in my head I hardly noticed the door being kicked down so hard that the hinges feel off. I snapped back to reality when I saw the person who broke it down. "Fresh?! What are you doing here?!" Ink yelled while standing up a little too quickly. "AYYYY WHAT UP MY FINE BROTATO CHIP?! IM HERE TO TEACH A SINNER A LESSON!" Fresh- I assumed his name was- said. He whipped his head towards me and his unnerving smile seemed to tighten. "SO, DUDETTE, HAVE YOU BEEN THINKING UP IMPURE THOUGHTS? ABOUT A SUPER RAD SKELETON?!" He got way too close in my personal space, he wasn't even an inch away. "U-U-Uh, n-no..." I heavily stuttered while blushing a rose red. "THAT'S ALL RIGHT BROSKI, A HELPFUL OPEN COMMUNICATION IS WHAT SIN-CRAVING ADDICTS LIKE YOU NEED DA MOST! I'M HERE BRO, I'M HERE..." (if you get the reference I love you) He was caressing my face and patting my head like we weren't complete strangers. I was speechless, what do I say to that? Can I even reply to that? "Fresh, what the hell?!" Ink pulled him off me, thankfully. "JUST TRYIN TO HELP RAD BRUH!" Fresh somehow didn't see the problem of invading a person's personal bubble and calling them a sinner. "Out." Ink said sternly. "AYYY THAT'S OK DAWG! WHEN DUDETTE THINKS ABOUT IT AGAIN I'LL BE BACK~!" He shouted and pulled out what looked like a bath bomb. "FRESH POOF!" He threw it on the ground and disappeared in a radically colored cloud of puff. Me and Ink just stared at the spot where he was last seen in disbelief. "What... What just happened." I said while breaking the three minute silence. "My thoughts exactly... What did you think about that made him react like that?" Ink replied while turning to me. I blushed as if it was the only thing I could do, which I'm starting to believe. I knew I couldn't lie since he's super good at catching them... so maybe a half truth. Yeah. "W-Well the thought hit me of whether skeletons could... r-reproduce. So I was contemplating whether skeletons have... y'know." I ducking hate myself. Why does my brain do this to me. "O-Oh..." Was all Ink said as a cute rainbow blush dashed his cheeks. Seeing him blush made me blush even more. "Welp, I'm gonna go bury a hole and hide in it until I die." I started to walk towards the now doorless entrance. Ink grabbed my arm just before I left though. "Don't, it was a perfectly reasonable question. Sometimes even I don't know how my anatomy works... Seriously, how do I breathe?" We both laughed the awkwardness off and he let go of me. "Do you want to know the answer?" Ink asked with another blush. "What?" I cocked my head to the side. "If skeletons have... those things." He phrased. My face exploded with heat and embarrassment. "U-U-Uhm... k-kinda?" I admitted while hiding my face with my hands. "We... do... there's a scientific reason that makes sense if I explained it but... I think we both don't want that talk." Ink answered with a blush (take a shot every time I say 'blush' in the entire book) that almost beat mine. "Y-Yeah. I'm still gonna go hide in a hole. Cyaaaa." I started to walk backwards but tripped on the unhinged door. My funny bone  hit the doorknob and oH bOY did that hurt. I inhaled deeply as the pain set in, it was nearly as bad as stubbing my toe. "Oh my goodness, are you okay?" Ink asked concernedly and bending down to my level. "Ow." I breathed out. "I'm going to kill Fresh." I added as I slowly pulled my elbow away. The pain throbbed but I kept my breath steady. "Let me get you some ice." Ink replied while standing up and quickly pacing to the freezer. I sat up so I was in a weird sitting position and held my elbow in pain. He returned in less than a minute and applied the bagged ice. I let out a contented sigh in relief, ice really did do wonders. We sat there kinda awkwardly as he held the ice in place and I just waited for the throbbing to stop. Eventually it did after like 5 minutes. "I think it's good now..." I said as he retreated the bag. "Thanks." I added. "No problem, if everything's good then I'm gonna take a nap. Fighting with Error really tires me out, as you can imagine." Ink helped me off the ground and started walking up the stairs. "Goodni- er- Good... afternoon?" He corrected himself, we both laughed and he finally got to his room and shut the door. I sighed a little too loudly and crashed onto the couch. It's only been like... 4 hours and the day has been so eventful. I noticed my sketchbook on the coffee table along with the piles of junk food. It was starting to smell a little so I decided to get rid of that first. I did my best to pick it all up in one go and managed to do it. I threw it all into the trash can into the kitchen and I wiped the imaginary dust that accumulated on my hands off. I returned to the couch and grabbed the sketchbook and the pencil in it's spirals. I opened up a fresh new page and began to think about what to draw. I decided to just draw what randomly came to mind, without even knowing that I was drawing a specific thing. I drew a basic circle and a smaller stretched out oval overlapping under it. I erased the over lapping parts and begun to draw two smaller circles within the head... wait I was drawing a head? Ok then. I drew an upside-down heart in between the eyes... wait those were eyes? What kind of head is this? I ignored my own questions and drew a curved line to represent a closed mouthed smile. Well that's cute I guess. I colored in the upside down heart with the pencil and got to work on drawing a star in the left eye. I colored around the star and drew a small oval in the other eye and colored around it like the other one. It wasn't until I was drawing the outline of the paint splotches that I realized... I was drawing Ink. Why am I drawing Ink? Why was he the first thing I thought of? I still drew though and soon I had the head done. I decided to go all out and draw his full body.

It had been at least 2 hours and I was finishing retracing the sketch with a pen, I had managed to find a ton of art supplies in my room. I guess Ink knew I liked to draw. I placed the pen to the side to look at my new art, I think it looked pretty good. I debated coloring it but decided that I was too tired and too hungry. I closed the sketchbook and walked to the kitchen. I literally just grabbed the first edible thing in sight, I didn't even realize what I was eating until I got to the couch and put my hand in the bag. Why am I so spacy today? What am I even eating? I looked down at the bag but still had no idea what brand of chips this was. It was good though, reminded me of popato chisps. I laid against the back of the couch and just... thought. It was mainly questions, I seemed to never run out of those. Why did Error destroy a universe because of me? What did I do to him? Ink seemed to know why... But will he tell me? I returned the chips back where they belonged but I didn't return to the couch. Mainly because there was someone in the kitchen... and it wasn't Ink. "Um... who are you?" I asked the turned around figure. They whipped their head around, they certainly looked the opposite of a threat. "Oh, hi there! My names Dream, I'm looking for Ink." He- I assumed it was a he because he looked like a Sans- greeted. "He's taking a nap, I can wake him up if you want." The idea of waking him didn't set well with me though. "No need, I'm right here." Ink appeared behind me, making me flinch a bit. He chuckled and passed by me to 'Dream'. "What's the matter?" Ink questioned him. "Um it's about you know who," Dream glanced over to me quickly then back to Ink. "Can we talk in private?" He asked. "Sure, sorry Y/n. We'll be back soon." Ink said to me, I was about to ask what this was about but they both teleported away before I could. Instantly, I felt questions bounce back and forth in my brain. Who was 'you know who'? Was it Voldemort? (of course I had to make a reference) I shrugged it off and finally returned to the couch. I decided to watch Netflix until they were back.

~Time skip brought to you by Netflix: the place to go for binge watching at 3 am~

It's been like 30 minutes and the episode I was watching was nearly over. I nearly jumped out of my seat when Dream and Ink appeared literally out of no where. "Are you guys trying to give me a heart attack?" I joked. "Sorry, anyway I'll see you later Dream." Ink said. "Remember what I said, alright?" Dream summoned a portal and was about to go through it. "Got it." Ink replied. Dream disappeared through the portal and I turned to Ink. "I'm guessing I'm not gonna know what that was about." I predicted. "Yeah, sorry. All I can tell you is that we're gonna have to temporarily move." Ink replied while sweating nervously  "Wait, what?! Why?!" I jumped up from the couch in alarm. "This universe has a weak code, therefore it's very easy to break into and destroy. Dream also told me that Error knows how to get to this place, so yeah." Ink seemed to be panicking as he paced back and forth. "Where are we gonna go?" I questioned, hopefully it was a nice place. Ink froze in place in realization. "I'm... I'm not sure. I'll figure out something though... the safest place would be Undertale but that's a hard place to be hidden. Hmm..." Ink resumed his pacing but this time he was clearly thinking hard. I decided not to bother him and went upstairs to pack a few things. I didn't really understand what Ink meant about 'code'. I shrugged it off and grabbed a backpack that for some reason was in the corner. I filled it up with all of my essentials and walked back downstairs to see Ink had his stuff too and seemed to have figured out where to go. "Ready?" Ink asked once I reached him. "Yeah..." I sighed, internally I was extremely nervous. "Alright. Let's go." Ink made a portal going who knows where. He grabbed my hand and we fell through.
