-3 days later-
~Y/n's POV~
Today was the day. I could feel it. Today was the day we would rescue the poor souls in Nightmare's castle. I was nervous, what if it all went wrong?
"You alright?" Ink asked me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder as we sat on the couch. I nodded my head, I felt slightly sick. All of my old memories were resurfacing.
"Do you want to go now? Or do you want to wait?" He questioned, now rubbing my shoulder in support. It had almost fully healed, but it would never be the same.
"Let's do this." I answered, gathering all of my courage and placing it in my soul. I stood up, Ink was still holding onto me as we walked to the center of the room.
"Good luck!" Dream exclaimed, hope in his eyes.
"What he said." Poison said, looking even more anxious than me.
I closed my eyes and focused. Nightmare's dungeon... Nightmare's dungeon... The memories of my torture were screaming at me, and I let them. It was hard, but I could feel the magic in my bones start to coarse and spark.
I felt inexplicably cold and musty, and before I opened my eyes I knew it had worked. I couldn't feel Ink's hand on me anymore, but I could still feel his presence.
I opened my eyes and it took a few seconds for them to adjust to the unnatural darkness. I was in the middle of all the cells, just like I had wanted. I heard stifled crying and yelps, my sudden appearance must have frightened the prisoners.
"It's alright, I'm going to get you guys out." I whispered to them, squinting to get a better look at the seemingly empty cells.
"Y-Y/n?" A small and broken voice said behind me, I turned my head in surprise and saw a small figure in one of the cells. The door at the end of the hall was closed, so it was extremely dark. I could just make out their outline.
"Yes, are you Underfell Frisk?" I asked them, going down on my knees so I was at their silhouettes level.
"U-Underfell?" They said confused, of course they didn't know.
"Never mind. I'm going to try and break this door." I said as I summoned a Gaster Blaster. It's eyes lit up a small portion of the room, enough for me to see the terrible state of Frisk.
"Fire at that lock. Try not to hurt Frisk." I told it, my voice sounded garbled and indecipherable. But I could understand it, and so could the Blaster.
It opened it's jaw wide, a bright light purple expelled from it's mouth. The door didn't break. I knew it wouldn't be that easy... It also would be only a matter of time before someone found me.
"Okay... try biting at it." I instructed, and it quickly obeyed. It went to work on trying to destroy the bars with it's razor sharp teeth, but it didn't work.
"I know there's a key that all of them have." Frisk spoke up as the Blaster kept chewing the bars like a toy.
"I bet that's the only way in. Unless I try teleporting in... I've only done it once though. And I may not be able to teleport back out so Reaper can make a portal..." I muttered to myself. I knew what must be done.
"Blaster, can you try to get the key? And try to be sneaky. If any one sees you, disappear immediately." It immediately stopped gnawing on the bars and nodded before disappearing. I knew it had gone outside the room.
I waited patiently for a few minutes, anxiously looking around in the pitch darkness. What if one of them found it and were coming here now to get me?
