(I AM SO SORRY THIS IS LATE!!!! I was on vacation for a week and didn't have enough time to write. I will try to release the next chapter sooner as an apology!)

~Y/n's POV~

"We need to train you."

I was currently on the couch after 11 hours of deep sleep. We had all gathered round to discuss what we should do to save Poison from what ever took her.

"What?" I said in slight surprise, as I hadn't been mentioned much in this conversation.

"We need to train you to fight." Error repeated, staring me dead in the eye with an intensity I had never seen.

I stared at him perplexed. The idea seemed strange to me, the last time I tried to fight one of Nightmare's cronies I got bashed in the head.

"But... I can't fight. There's no way I could beat Nightmare in a fight." I tried to reason.

"That's exactly why we need to train you. So you stand a chance." Error responded, glancing at the others for support.

"I agree." Ink said, tightening his grip on my waist reassuringly.

Almost everyone nodded in agreement, but a few others looked skeptical. A human, fight the embodiment of negativity?

"It's settled then. In fact, I think we all should train. To make sure our magic isn't getting weak from lack of use." Error said, still with that intent look on his face.

So we did just that. We decided to do it outside, as we didn't want to destroy the house. Ink worked his magic, literally, and made a whole training area for us. It was complete with training dummies, targets were placed towards the left, punching bags were hanging in mid air, and there was a single treadmill that didn't work. I was confused by the last addition, but a few of the other Sanses seemed to get a laugh from it.

We all split up to do our own thing, and I had no idea where to even start. I felt something poke my pocket and with a jump, I secretly pulled out the dim sliver of Gaster's soul. It was twitching and it's glow was flickering every so often.

"Ink?" I called out to him. He abandoned what ever he was doing and rushed over to me.

"Yes?" He asked, and he gave a start when he saw the soul. He led me off to the side so no one would notice us.

"What do you think it's doing?" I asked in a little over a whisper, the noise level was increasing. Bones were hitting the targets and training dummies were being destroyed before popping back to its original state like it was nothing.

"I'm not sure..." He responded, but the soul then did something even weirder. It jumped out of my hand and began to try to headbutt me. Shocked, I stumbled back. But it persisted.

"Of course! That's why he gave you it!" Ink suddenly gasped loudly. The soul continued its relentless pounding on my chest, right where my heart would be.

"Absorb it!" He suddenly cried out, and I could tell why he was suddenly afraid. The soul was getting slower, and the light was dimming rather quickly. It seems the soul could no longer survive outside a host for much longer.

Everyone's attention had been caught now, and they seemed shocked seeing the sliver of soul. With only a slight hesitation, I extended my soul out and the soul banged right into it. But it didn't bounce off like it did with my chest, it went straight into it.

A sound like a bang and a flash of bright light engulfed me. I felt pure power fill my body, and I dropped to the ground. My head was pounding, like someone took a hammer and smashed it.
