I never knew it.
I never saw it.
I never felt it.
But it was there,
Creeping into my wort nightmares.
"IVY!" Hannah yelled while patting the seat next to her. I quickly filled the spot and threw my backpack next to me. Study hall was the worst.
"Hey did we have any homework yet?" Hannah asked.
"Yeah math, but I got it done." I claimed, but I haven't even started on it. Study hall for me was nap time.
Hannah sighed while I layer my head down, I didn't get much sleep that night, I wasn't tired and couldn't sleep. I kept having this feeling something bad was going to happen.
"Ivy? Earth to Ivy?" Hannah waved her hand across my face.
"The bell rang lets go." she said. Has time passed that quickly? Did I fall asleep that fast?
I shook it off and rubbed my eyes. It wasn't much of a power nap, but it'll do.
