"Hey Tom... Look who I found." I said while Hannah, Marlena, and Matt strolled out of the gas station.
Toms eyes widened and he nodded and walked away. He hasn't talked to me since Olivia died...
I raced over to him as he turned a curb.
"Tom wait up!"
He walked faster.
"Tom!"
He stopped and didn't turn around.
"Tom?"
He seemed to be frozen in time.
He quickly turned around and gave me a dirty look.
"What?" I asked him.
"What? That's all you need to say?" I drive fucking hours just to get nothing and lose a person! What was your plan here?!?" He yelled.
I stood frozen.
"We had no other place to go-"
"No other place to go? We could've traveled someplace safer! A group!" He screames.
I stare at the ground. HE was blaming ME for Olivia's death? For wasting our time? The thought made me rethink.... But every possible idea came to the same thing.
I killed Olivia.
"I-I-I'm sorry." I sniffle.
"Sorrys not good enough! What ever we had is over Ivy. Your a killer. And right now I'd like to leave your sorry ass behind!" My heart stops.
I feel hot anger bubble up in me but only tears come out.
Half of me expected to have Tom apologeize, but the other half told me to run. I stood there broken in two and no where to go.
Tom stomped off back to the group and I herd him yelling that I was a killer.
I herd the girls gasp and I felt alone.
The first person I saw around the curb was Marlena, Hannah trailing behind.
"What the hell is going on?" Marlena looked confused.
I shook my head and felt sick.
"Ivy, they are talking about leaving you behind" said Hannah
"please leave me" I whispered
Hannah and Marlena gasped
"NO GIRL!" They both yelled.
It still amazes me that no walkers have herd us.
Tom returns over at the curb.
"I talked it over with the guys."
Hannah and Marlena looked scarred.
I wouldn't be surprised if they kicked me out.
I'm better off dead.
".... Listen, I'm sorry.... It wasn't your fault, and you where right, we haven't seen a walker here yet. I was dumb for yelling at you. Your still in."
Hannah and Marlena beamed.
"Um girls, can you leave Ivy and I alone? We need some privite time." Tom asked.
They both nodded and giggled as they walked past the turn.
"Ivy..... I made a mistake, I was angery and I...-"
"No Tom... I know what I've done."
"Ivy... No please." His eyes where pleading me not to go.
"Tom I-" he pulled me close and our foreheads where touching.
"Please don't leave me, I'll never leave you. Ever." His eyes burned into me and I felt his lips brunch against mine and I fell back in love with him.
He grabbed my hand and we strolled to the group.
"Awe they made up." Alex teased.
"Yup, biggest mistake of my life, I mean leaving her I mean." Tom said and I giggled.
"Where's Kaiyah?" Tom asked.
"She's in the car, she seems depressed about you know who."
I saw a head turn in the tinted windows.
"Oh." Tom replied dumbly.
I look over at Matt who was holding Marlenas hand.
"We'll looks like we are all a couple, except Cody and Kaiyah.
"I ship it!" Marlena squeles.
"So we have Marlena and Matt, Hannah and Alex, and me and Ivy?" Tom asks.
"Yup."
We all laugh and Cody is just standing ackwardly.
"uh... Cody... What's wrong?" I asked
Cody shifted nervously. He's never been much of a talker.
"um... I'm gay..." He replies shyly.
All of us stop and stare.
He cracks a smirk.
"Learn something new everyday!" Alex says. And everyone laughs including Cody.
My eyes traval back into the car at Kaiyah.
"You guys think Kaiyah will be ok?" I asked.
Everyone eyes shifted.
I sighed.
"I'm gonna see if she's ok." I say
Everyone nodds and I head to the car.
I swung open the door and see Kaiyah in back, crying.
"Kaiyah.... Are you ok?"
She continues sobbing and ignored my question.
"P-please l-l-eave me h-h-here." She says between sobs.
"What no way!" I say.
"Ivy I'm serious. Leave me here.
I don't want you guys to see me die here." She says
"What do you mean?"
She takes out her knife and rubbed her fingers on it.
My blood goes cold. I screamed for the other so come and race to me.
"What's up? Tom says
"She wants to-" Kaiyah cut me off.
"DIE I WANT TO DIE! I WANT OLIVIA BACK!" She screames.
She runs out of the car and we all run after her.
She turns the curb me and Tom got back together at and stops and turns around.
"By guys. I'll be looking over you with Olivia. We will both miss you!" She says.
Her arm rises with the knife, and slits her throut.
Blood flies everywhere and Kaiyah drops to the ground. Dead.
Everyone is shocked.
I fell Toms arms wrap around me, keeping me upwards.
Kaiyah is dead...... The idea is too hard to believe.......
