I ran to my tent and herd Patch following me.
"Ivy!! Wait!" He shouted after me. I slid inside the opening of the tent and zipped up the door.
I herd his foot steps gain closer to my tent.
They stopped when I saw his shadow cast into the door.
He knocked.
"Ivy....." He said and stopped himself.
I gathered myslelf with a pillow in the corner of the tent.
"I hope you know I'm gonna be sitting out here until you come out." He said. I herd some grass crunch and then him sighing.
"Such a beautiful day." He said. I was totally not going out.
He sighed again.
"Ugh it's so boring with out you." He rested his head on the corner of my tent.
He didn't say anything for awhile.
I slowly got up.
There was a window on the door but cloth was over it.
I pulled back the cloth slowly and saw Patch sleeping in front of the door.
He mumbled and shifted sides.
There was just enough room for me to squeeze through.
I slowly unzipped the door and slipped my foot out.
"SIKE!" He yelled and grabbed my foot and pulled my outside.
"PATCH WHAT THE-" I shouted and he pulled me to the ground.
He started laughing and tickling me.
"P-p-patch stop!" I yelled. Choking back laughter.
"GET A ROOM!" Jev yelled playfully from afar.
Patch stopped and blushed.
"You good sir, are a asshole." I said as I dusted myself off.
He laughed. "You know it!" He joked and put his arm around my neck.
Jev ran up to us.
"Do I spy a new couple?!" He asked raising a eyebrow at Patch.
Patch laughed and looked at me.
"I dunno..." He gave a childish grin. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"I'll think about it, after I am over...Tom..." I said remember good memories. I remember when I first met him...
"Uh Earth to Ivy?" Patch said waving his hands infront if my face.
"Uh... Yeah!" I said feeling my face get hot.
"YO JEV!" A man yelled from another side of the camp.
"WHAT?" Jev yelled back.
"NEW PEOPLE!" The man shouted. Jev perked up and ran towards the man.
"Let's go!" Patch yelled and dragged me along.
It was two boys and a man.
"Sir, are you bit? Are there any others in your group?"
"No, none are bit, I'm Bow, this is Rider, and Tyson. My eyes flickered to Tyson who was staring off in the distance. I followed his gaze and my eyes rested on Hannah, who was chatting it up with a woman named Lily.
"Woah..." Tyson said still staring at Hannah.
"That's Hannah." Jev said breaking the silence.
My eyes wondered over to Rider who was staring at me. He winked.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH!" Patch yelled stepping infront of me.
"Patch play nice!" I chirped and walked over to Hannah and Lily.
"Hey what's up?" I ask them.
"Nothing much." Both said.
"Hannah I have a lover boy for youuuuu!" I sang.
"Who?" She asked looking around.
I sat next to her and pointed to Tyson who was still staring.
Hannah stared back.
It was weird. Both of them starting at eachother.
"Woah..." She whispered.
I grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.
"Let's go talk to him!" I said.
"NO I GOT TO GO FIX MY HAIR!" She tried to wiggle away.
I dragged her to the new guys and Tyson and her gaze never broke.
"Hi..." He said breathlessly.
"Hi..." She repeated.
I felt Patchs side brush against mine and I shivered.
From off in the distance I herd my name being called over and over again.
Jess? Where was Jess?
"Hannah!"
"Hm?"
"Where is Jess?"
"Marsha has him..."
I looked over at Marsha who was hanging up laundry, Jess by her side folding socks.
I sighed, but who is calling my name?
I peeked over Tyson and saw Tom standing in some brush, smiling.
Then he walked off.
I shook my head.
It's made up in my mind... Tom is dead.
Patch's hand slipped into mine and he drew me close.
I herd Rider sigh.
"Let's go." Patch whispered in my ear. I nodded and I turned around and saw Boomer in the distance.
"Hey I got to go talk to Boomer for a bit, I want my sword back." I said to Patch.
"Ok I'll be waiting in your tent." He said casually.
"Um... IN my tent?"
"Yeah, I need to tell you something."
"Ok..." I said and walked to Boomer.
"Hey Ivy, looking for your sword?" He asked without even looking at me, he was too busy skinning his fish.
"Um yeah."
"Here." He flung it at me.
I grabbed it.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
Well that was easy.
I walked past the bonfire and saw Hannah and Tyson laughing and talking. The night time air seemed calm... At last...
I saw a glow in my tent.
I walked towards it and Tom blocked the opening.
I froze.
"STAY AWAY! GO!" He screamed and vanished. I didn't move. My heart pounded and I relised I was holding my breath. I let out a Shakie sigh and Patch's head peeked out of the tents door.
"Come here." He smirked.
I slowly stumbled to the tent and climbed in.
"Everything ok? You look like you've seen a ghost." He said hugging me. He let go and we where inches apart.
"Promise not to slap me?" He asked.
"Wha-" his lips locked onto mine.
Tom clouded my mind. His eyes filled with sadness and ringings rang in my ears. My head spun and my stomach knotted.
Patch let me go and I fell backwards.
I couldn't hear, my eyes where clouded, every breath I took was pins and needles, I was cold and my mind filled with every memory of Tom. Then others.

And for the first time in my life,
I screamed as hard as I could. I let every memory scream out threw me.
Then blackness consumed me.
"Ivy!" Patch yelled. I felt him shake me over and over again.
My eyes cracked open.
"Ivy?" He smiled and hugged me.
"What happened?" I asked looking around.
"I kissed you, you fell backwards, and started screaming. It was effing scary." He said.
I smoothed my hair and Tyson and Hannah ran in.
"Is everything ok?" Hannah said looking around quickly.
I looked at Hannah's hands, who where holding Tyson's. (Awe)
Patches hands where on my shoulders and he put his head on my head. He was at least 6"5 and I was a 5"5.
"Uh Ivy?" Hannah said.
"Yeah?"
"Are you two....together?" Her eyes danced back and forth to me and Patch.
Patch looked at me and his eyebrow rose. His icy blue eyes tore me open. He flipped his golden brown hair and his mouth tugged into a smile.
"Ivy, say something instead of looking at me." His teeth peeked through.
"Ivy? Are you together?" Hannah asked again.
I shrugged.
"In that case, yes...yes we are." Patch said, his hand slipping in mine.
"Oooooh! I got a new man myself!" She said nodding her head at Tyson.
She blushed and burst out laughing.
A smile broke in Tysons face and he was laughing two.
I looked over at Patch and he looked back at me.
I shrugged and mouthed I don't know.
He smiled.
"Ahm... I need to tell Ivy something, mind leaving?" He asked Hannah and Tyson who finally calmed down. They nodded and sighed.
As soon as the tent door closed Patch sighed.
"Ivy.... Will you go out with me?" His eyes sparkled.
"I...." There was a face in the window.
Tom.
He smiled and waved, but sadness filled his eyes.
I looked over to Patch who had hope in his eyes, anxiously waiting for my response.
"Say yes." A voice whispered.
"Yes." I said quietly and bowed my head.
I felt Patches hands where around me, hugging me.
"What's wrong?" His eyes filled with worry.
"Nothing...I'm ok...." I lied.
He tilted my head up and stared in my eyes.
"I know your not." He said.
I let out a Shakie sigh.
"Tom." I whispered
He held my hands.
"I don't want you hurting..." He cleared his throat and stood up.
"Follow me." He said with a quick smirk.
He trotted outside and I followed.
He did a quick wave to Jev who nodded and smiled at me.
We ran off into the woods.
There was a huge Willow tree that touched the ground, making it seem like a gigantic bush.
Patch disappeared inside it and I followed.
Branches twisted and turned everywhere and Patch drew a match. He lit a string and the flame snaked down and lit candles of different colors.
The hole tree seemed to light up.
"Its beautiful..." I said, my eyes dancing around.
I turned around and
Relised he was starting at me.
"How did you do this?" I asked him.
"It's always been a dream of mine, also lots of trips to the gas stations." He laughed.
"It's amazing." I said, too stunned for words.
"Check it!" He said whipping out a rusty stool.
"Wow so classy."
He smiled and I sat down.
He leaned up against the truck and sighed.
"What?" I asked feeling nervous for no certain reason.
"Go get Hannah and Tyson, oh and also Jev and Lily." He said smiling.
"Wait...are Jev and Lily together?"
"Yup." He gave me a wink.
"Awe! So cute!" I laughed and pulled back the leaves.
"Be safe! Do you know the way back?" He yelled after me.
"I think so!" I yelled back, and stepped into the woods.
