I got to my house but my dads car was gone. The doors where all locked and so where the windows.
He left me behind.
That asshole! Ever since my mom died he always looked at me like trash!
I can do better off with out him!
I busted the door down and it looked like he packed up every source of food and weapons.
"Fuck..." I whispered under my breath.
On the couner there was a note, a gun, and a large knife.
The note said:
Good luck kid
Dad
He didn't leave any food
Just that.
Now I must forage and steal.
Yay.
I ran down to the nearest gas station and it was havoc
People where fighting over the gas and others had huge baskets of the food, no way I could get anything in this chaos!
I decided I had no choice and I ran into the store.
The shelfs where empty. I looked all around and only found a small package of sun flower seeds.
I started looking around more where there was a tap on my shoulder.
I took the knife my father left me and held it close as I turned around.
A big burly man stood before me. His eyes wided.
"Are you alone?" He asked me with a deep voice.
I nodded my head slowly and he pointed to his car.
"Come with me if you wanna live." He said and he headed off to the car.
I knew I had to go. Or it'd be a death sentence.
He opened his truck door and I crawled in.
I looked in the back seat and I couldn't believe who it was.
It was my friend Hannah.
"Ivy?"
"Hannah?"
We both tried to hug but i was in front and she was in back.
The man started his truck and we dove unknowly on the highway into the country.
