When I arrived to the camp o saw Jev and Lily sitting together.
"Hey guys! Patch has a surprise.
They both smiled at eachother and got up.
"I gotta go get Hannah and Tyson." They followed me to Hannah's tent.
I pulled the door open and saw Hannah and Tyson making out.
Hannah whipped around and glared at me.
"Knock much?!?" She yelled.
"Um... Patch had a surprise for us..." They smiled.
"Ok! We're goin!" Tyson yelled grabbing Hannah hand.
We walked into the woods and I saw the tree.
"What with the bush?" Hannah said poking my shoulder.
I smiled as I pulled back the branches.
They stood in awe and I looked in.
Patch stood in the middle, his hands in his pockets.
"Hey guys." He smiled.
"So this is what you've been doin in the woods." Jev said chuckling.
Patch smiled and hugged me.
"So guys.... I have a crazy idea." Patch said while we where all sitting around the tree.
"What is it?" Jev said raising a eyebrow.
"Let's all leave the group."
"What?!" We all said at once.
"Yeah! We are all good at surviving on our own and we are runnin low on food and water! Not to mention fuels." Patch rubbed his eyes.
"I agree." I said.
He was right, we would do better in a small group.
"If Ivy is goin, I'm goin." Hannah said standing up.
"If Hannah's goin, I'm going, screw Rider and Bow." Tyson said standing up.
"I'm up for a adventure!" Lily said standing up.
Jev stood up.
"Well I might as well tag along." He sighed. Patch smiled.
"We leave tomarrow morning. Pack now and come back. We sleep here." Patch demanded.
"Well look who is taking charge." Jev said chuckling.
"Ok then, Jev is leader." Hannah said looking over at Jev.
Jev nodded.
"Then what am I?" Patch whined.
"My assistant." Jev said mockingly.
I herd Patch sigh.
"What about Jess?" I said.
I herd Patch clear his throat.
"We leave him." Tyson said quickly.
"NO!" I yelled. Patch put his hand around my waist.
"Do you really want him?" Patch said raising a eyebrow. I nodded.
"Ok, go get the kid." He said.
"You sure about that Ivy?" Jev said cracking his knuckles.
Lily put her hand on his shoulder.
"Patch and I will take care of him." I said glancing over at Patch who nodded.
And with that, we each went to pack are belongings. I grabbed Jess who was sleeping in his tent and he gladly followed me.
We decided to go South, to the ocean and find a boat.
As we where walking down the road, I felt Toms sprit tugging me back.
"Guys stop!" I said.
They all turned around looking at me.
"Wait right here!" I said and ran off into the forest.
I knew where I was going, I was going to Toms grave.
As soon as I reached it i stopped cold.
"So this is it..." I choked out.
The wind blew.
I noticed a dead Dafodill sitting on the side of the grave. I picked it and blew the seeds away, making a wish.
I wished for Toms sprit to be happy.
A weight had come off of my shoulders and it became brighter. I layed the stem on the grave.
"I'll miss you, I love you." I whispered.
Silence greeted me and I backed away, holding back tears.
I ran back to the others and nodded my head.
"Let's go." I said.
And we headed off, deep into the unknown.
