Chapter 36

"Goodnight, babe." He whispered, giving me a quick kiss before laying down and falling asleep almost immediately.

"Night... love you..." I mumbled, not properly thinking with my half awake brain.

"Love you too..."

~Flashback end~

(SAFETY LINE!! ENTERING FLUFFY TERRITORY AGAIN!)

My face felt like it was on fire, I wondered if he enjoyed that... I would have to make it up to him somehow.

I decided it was finally time to wake up and gave Ink a kiss so he would also get up. He hardly stirred until I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed harder against him. He gave a tiny flinch, signaling that he was awake, and pressed back into me. His arms wrapped themselves tighter on my waist as we made out. I pulled away because I was getting kind of out of breath.

"Good morning~" I said somewhat seductively. Ink blushed and gave a huge yawn.

"Good morning, babe." He replied in his husky morning voice. A few delightful chills ran down my back.

"Should we get going?" I asked, sitting up and stretching my arms behind me.

"Yeah, probably." He answered, following my lead. I heard some of his bones crack into place and he let out a satisfied sigh.

"I'm never sleeping on the ground again." He added, rubbing his spinal cord in pain. I felt bad, but before I could speak there was a small cough from outside our tent.

Me and Ink looked at each other in worry, did one of Nightmare's gang find us?

"It's just me." A voice said from outside. I recognized it as CORE!Frisk, I let out a mental sigh of relief.

Me and Ink walked outside and saw CORE leaning against a tree. They looked bored and annoyed about something.

"What's wrong?" I questioned, batting away a mosquito that had landed on my arm. Ink was lucky that they didn't bother him.

"Reaper doesn't have enough magic left to make a portal and it's not safe here. I'm taking you back." They said in their emotionless voice.

"Oh, alright. Let me pack up our stuff." Ink responded, grabbing his paintbrush and making the tent disappear with a swish. He grabbed the bag full of seashells and his clothes before turning to CORE.

"Ok, we're ready." He said, grabbing my hand gently.

CORE nodded and extended their hand forward. A pure black door with a yellow four point star on it was summoned out of no where. They opened the door by it's golden doorknob and opened it, waiting for us to go in first.

Ink led me through the door because I was slightly distracted by it. Going through the door was different than teleporting, I didn't even feel my feet leave the ground. We walked straight into the living room of the infinite house.

I was tackled into a hug by Blueberry and fell to floor. I let out a grimace of pain but hugged him back. He got off of me after a moment and went to hug Ink, who didn't fall over because he was expecting it.

Dream helped me off the ground, which I thanked him for. I rubbed the back of my head where it had hit the floor. I think it was going to bruise.

"Thank goodness you guys are back, I need to tell you about something." Dream said, letting me go once he was sure I wouldn't fall over again.
