Runa was going to throttle the man they called Grandfather ('But you call him shitty geezer, Runa,' Luffy points out unnecessarily) because it was one thing to tie children to balloons but it was a whole other story to demand for the both of them to fight a bunch of monkeys.
"I don't want to do it," Runa declared the second she laid eyes on those bunch of primates. Luffy nodded in agreement, completely horrified by the fact that his grandfather would make them fight a bunch of scary looking monkeys.
"Do as I say!" Grandpa yelled, slamming his fists down on the twins' heads.
Runa yelled with equal heat, "Stop hitting me, you shitty geezer! Are you trying to dumb me down to your level of stupidity?!"
Grandpa wasn't having any of it, he grabbed the twins and tossed them to the wolves (well, monkeys) without hesitation. Runa screamed in annoyance at the action.
"Jii-chan! I don't want to fight monkeys!" Luffy exclaimed in frustration, his entire body filled with bruises.
"I'm going to kill you, one day," Runa promised, staring at her grandfather with her beaten body. She looked remarkably similar to a certain someone at that moment, someone with dark hair and a terrifying grin.
Grandpa glared back at her with a raised fist, "You're really starting to look like that brat of mine."
"Good! Don't want to look like you, now, do I!"
