Nice and Smart (DRABBLE)

"Are you alright?" Benn asked. 

Runa sniffled, "Of course, I'm not. Being shot hurts."

"There, there, princess," Shanks' ship doctor smiled. "You'll be all patched up soon."

"Shanks better save Luffy," Runa said. "He already couldn't swim before but now he's in the middle of the ocean and Luffy is going to sink."

Benn patted her head, "Don't worry. Shanks will save him."

"Really?" Runa looked up with wet eyes. 

Benn smiled, "I promise."

"Doctor!" Someone shouts, at the port. Runa snapped her eyes up in horror, scrambling to get up. Benn helped her, carrying her up and walking quickly over.

Runa's thoughts on how hurt Luffy could've been were wiped clean at the sight of Shanks' arm, his missing arm. Luffy was bawling, clutching Shanks tight while Runa just froze in terror. Then, Runa finally burst into tears.

"Your arm!" She wailed, reaching for Shanks. 

Shanks laughed, sounding a little pained, "I told Luffy this and I'll tell you again, it's just an arm."

Runa cried. She thinks maybe she loved Shanks almost as much as she loved Luffy now. Almost.
