Hermes silently watched as Posiedon and I argued over Perce, as long as Perce didn't realize what he was then all would be well. I'd take him back to the hunt and he'd be safe.

As long as I could get him there in one piece.

Campers surrounded us like flies, I turned to them, "Do you mind? This is a matter of the gods, leave!"

They scampered away, I glanced at Perce, who was creeping away. I grabbed his wrist, "Stay, you need to see this."

He stared up at me with his beautiful green eyes, "Why?"

"Perce," I muttered to him.

"Also, why do you keep calling me Perce?" he asked me. My face turned a bright red.

"Uh," I stuttered, "because?"

He pulled his hand from my wrist, and began to walk over to Hermes. Hermes stared at him, "Percy?"

"What are you doing?" Posiedon snapped at him, "Go to the cabin, I'll come get you later."

uh oh.

Perce turned around and glared at him, almost as if somebody had asked him for a prophecy. His soft lips opened, "No! Do you really think I want to deal with this? I'm going to go and get some answers from somebody who will tell me!"

"No wait!" I yelled immediately, "Perce, I'll tell you what you need to know. Once we get back to the hunt, we will tell you."

I realized what I had said.

"Where are they?" he asked me. I don't know why anyone had ever thought he was dumb, the boy could catch anything that flys over his head.

I guess I stood there dumbly smiling for a few seconds because Perce looked at me with his piercing, sea green eyes.

And then Hermes let out a small gasp, "Oh I'm so stupid."

"Well?" Perce said, I snapped out of it.

If I told him, and he went to go look for them. . . then he wouldn't be allowed to leave. They would never let him go, if anything, they would take him straight to Delos.

So I should tell him.

"Do you know where the grove of Dodona is located?" I asked him. He looked at me in confusion, I bit my lip at his cute expression.

"Sort of?" he questioned.

"You will not go there, Perseus!" his father yelled at him, "I forbade it!"

You also forbade him from returning to camp, and look where we are right now.

"When you get there, there will be boys with clothes similar to mine. Golden, they will also have -" I tried to explain, but was cut short by a rumble in the earth.

"Bows," I said as I angerily turned towards Posiedon, "they will have bows and swords."

Hermes grabbed Perce's shoulder.

"Hermes! Take him to my cabin," he called, "please. I will make sure you get rewarded."

Hermes pointed to the forest, "The Grove is over that way. You might want to run."

"No! Percy stay!" he yelled.

Before I could say anything, Perce fired back at him quicker then any of my arrows, "What am I, your pet?"

The ground shook again, this time, it didn't stop.

~

I dodged Poseidon's trident as it whizzed by my face, then I notched a few arrows and let all of them fly towards the sea god.

I wouldn't kill him. I would only slow him down enough for Perce and maybe me to be long gone by the time he regains his wits.

The shaking of the ground slowed as he became distracted.

One of the arrows grazed his arm, he glared at me with dangerous green eyes. I questioned how somebody as pure as Perce could be related to Poseidon or Orion, but then I remembered Perce slamming Atlas into the dirt because he tried to hurt one of my hunters.

Poseidon blasted water in my face, it curled around my neck and forced its way into my nose and mouth. I covered my face and ducked behind a building.

He stomped around the corner, I notched an arrow and shot it at him. Golden ichor dripped from his arm and chest, where I had just hit him. He reared his trident at me.

"Bastard! You won't take him from me this time!" He shouted.

I dodged him again by rolling to the side. His trident got wedged into the ground, I raised my foot to his head.

"Think again!" I yelled.

I brought my foot down, he grabbed my foot and flung me across the pavilion. I rolled into a kneel and dashed behind some cover, Posiedon let out a bellow of anger and began another onslaught of water.

Hermes stood at the side, he knew well enough not to get involved in the fight. The only thing he could do was call for my father to break up our fight.

Once it stopped I raced out and shot out a beam of sun. Posiedon howled as the light blinded him, I quickly notched half a dozen arrows and let them fly at the blinded sea god.

With as much spite as I could I repeated my action as celestial bronze arrows caught in his side's and joints. If he hadn't been so selfish, we wouldn't be in this mess at all.

I was distracted by my rage, giving Posiedon enough time to throw his trident plain into my chest. I winced at the burning feeling, it hurt to breath. I glared at the fool.

I felt my Golden ichor pour into my lounges. Posiedon now got up and ran towards me, I jolted out of my shock and aimed another arrow at him, this time his shriveled heart.

Just as we were about to collide, a bolt of lightning drove us apart. We both flew backwards a little, so, father had decided to show up?

He flashed in between us, shouting, "What is the meaning of this!"

"He tried to kidnap Percy!" Posiedon screamed like a spoiled brat.

"Oh please," I growled as I casted a healing enchantment on myself, "he chose to go by his free will, something you clearly do not respect!"

Hermes decided to speak up, "He did leave. Nobody made him do anything he didn't want to do."

Poseidon looked like he wanted to say something, but that was the truth. Nobody had dragged him away other than himself, trust me, if Perce didn't want to do something or go somewhere, you would find out pretty quickly.

Zeus began to ask Hermes some more questions, I gazed towards the forest. My son, Will Solace, charged out of nowhere. He looked around frantically before spotting me and running towards me.

Zeus, Poseidon and Hermes all turned towards him, I expected Will to tell me that Perce had arrived at the camp.

The words that came out of his mouth was close, but something that I didn't want.

"Percy," he heaved, "we found him, but. . . he's hurt."

My blood turned to Ice in my veins, I stared at Will, "How? When I sent him he was completely fine!"

"Dad! Calm down, he's bleeding. We're trying to keep the nymphs and such away, but I have no idea how long they'll be able to hold them off," he told me in a hushed tone.

I sighed in annoyance and worry, Perce gets hurt a lot and I wasn't too worried about the hunt not being able to patch him up, but he's bleeding. And if anyone saw his blood they would know.

They would know what Perce is, or even worse. . . .

Perce would know what he is.
