Remember When?

I sighed as Nico tried to answer my questions as Apollo and Luke watched the door.

"Has my father always been like that?" I asked him.

He shook his head, "Not until you started to get. . . Sick, and when he found out that Triton wasn't actually his son."

"How come he isn't his son? Did Amphitrite cheat?" I inquired.

"Yes," Nico sighed, "which makes you the potential heir, and I'm almost certain that your father wants you to be his heir."

I tilted my head, "Shouldn't he just have another son with a nymph or goddess? He wouldn't want a demigod as an heir."

Nico coughed, "Yeah. . . Seems kinda dumb."

Apollo wandered over to us, "Nico, go watch the door. I'll talk to Perce."

Nico glanced at me, then he turned around and walked towards the door.

I decided to just ask for once.

"Apollo," I asked smoothly, "what am I?"

He blinked a few times, looking like he had just been told that he is the father.

He looked at the ground, "I-"

There was a knock on the door, we all turned around to the door.

Bad timing.

Luke walked over to the door and opened it, outside I saw. . . Altheda.

"Who are you?" Luke muttered, he put his hand behind his back and reached under his shirt to reveal that he had a knife in his belt. He gripped the hilt and slowly slid it from his belt.

"Wait Luke!" I called, he glanced at me then back to Altheda, "I know her! Shes my friend!"

"I am?" She muttered under her breath.

"She is?" Luke muttered under his breath, "are you two. . ."

"No! You scoundrel!" Altheda cut him off.

What is going on right now?

"Should I kill her?" Nico asked.

"Yes!"

"She might be useful!"

"Wait don't!"

"Touch me and you'll look like a Pug."

I jumped up and grabbed onto Luke's arm, "don't hurt her! She's my friend!"

Luke sighed and put his knife back into the sheath in his belt, "You two, stand on opposite sides of the room."

I held up my hands as Nico lead me to the other side of the room.

"Who are you?" Apollo asked quickly.

Altheda responded, "My name is Altheda Desmond Dekker, I am a worker of Percy's mother."

Everyone went silent.

"Mother? Who?" Apollo whispered.

"Lady Chaos, of course," Altheda replied.

I don't know why, but that made me worried. Hearing Chaos made me. . . Scared. It gave me shivers.

Right after a slight argument involving Luke and Apollo almost hitting Altheda with a spoon, we all sat down to talk.

Finally.

Luke sighed, "I thought girls weren't supposed to be in here."

"You sound like a 6 year old," Nico commented.
