Not So Different |Aren Kuboyasu x Reader|

(Y/N)'s POV

Toritsuka didn't follow your exact directions and "accidentally" groped the poor girl. You of course had to be the responsible one and drag his now limp body to the nurse.

"Oi, you're alive right? I don't want to get charged of another murder." You said sarcastically.

Incoherent groans and mumbles escaped his mouth.

(Well at least he's alive...)

'How unfortunate.'

'Oh hey! Where have you been?'

'I got kidnapped as well by the Kokomins. Please help me I am currently tied to a chair and I can't use my powers, too many potential witnesses'

'Kay. Lemme just put this pervert down.'

You arrived at the infirmary and saw the nurse. She immediately knew what had happened. You dropped him onto the hard ground and she didn't really mind.

"Sorry I gotta go help Saiki."

You left and ran to Saiki's location. You busted the door to the Kokomins' lair down and Saiki was indeed tied up and the center of attention.

"Geez, is this even legal?"

Despite the masterfully tied knots, you were able to break him free rather quickly.

"H-hey you can't be in here!" Yelled the leader.

You grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the wall.

"Shut it, asshole!" You snapped.

Saiki-kun rested a hand on your shoulder, signaling you to calm down. You took a deep breath and released him. But some big dude came your way.

"No one messes with our leader!" He exclaimed while preparing an attack.

You dodged effortlessly and kicked him right in gut with enough force to propel him into a statue of Kokomi. Everyone was shocked.

(Welp, so much for fitting in.)

"If you mess with my friends again I'll kick all of your asses."

You grabbed Saiki's arm and began to walk out, but stopped.

"Oh, and I wouldn't let this get incident around otherwise you'll get into tremendous trouble. Not to mention that you'll be shamed by Teruhashi for getting beaten by a mere girl like me."

You finally left with Saiki by your side.

'Thanks.'

'Yeah no prob, but I just blew my cover...'

'I took care of it. I hypnotize them to make you look like a completely different person.'

'You can do that?'

'Among other things yes.'

'You should give me a list- also thanks'

You walked together in silence until Aren showed up.

"Oi, Saiki-kun where have you been? Also hey (Y/N) how's it going?"

'Help me! He's too hot! Could you possibly teleport me out of here?'

'Technically yes, but I can't expose myself either.'

You calmed down and played it cool.

"Hey Aren-kun! I was just helping Saiki-kun out with an unfortunate circumstance."

Aren's POV

(Y/N) and Saiki have been getting noticeably closer and closer today.

(I wish I could make friends just as easily as (Y/N) could.)

It was just one of (Y/N)'s abilities. She had an aura around her that made her quite easy to talk to and get along with.

(Speaking of talk...)

"Hey (Y/N) can I talk to you after school ends?"

"Of course!" She said with a smile.

"Great! C'mon Saiki we should get to class."

We waved (Y/N) goodbye and headed back to class with Saiki.

'So you're going to tell her about your past self?'

"I mean yeah, she's my best friend and I feel kinda bad if I keep it from her. You and Kaidou already know and that's not really fair to her..."

He nodded in response and the rest of the way to class was filled with silence. Saiki wasn't the type to keep a conversation going, he's more like a telephone pole. I couldn't possibly understand how (Y/N) managed to befriend in a day. She was pretty awesome at that sort of thing.

Once me and Saiki got to class he immediately went to his seat but everyone, including me crowded around him.

"I was thinking about going to the mall today. Would you all like to join me~?" Teruhashi asked.

"Yeah sure." I said coolly.

Everyone agreed except for Saiki, who had other plans afterschool.

"I need to talk to my friend afterschool so I might be a little late."
I added.

Everything was planned out and we planned to meet at the mall on the eastern streets.

(Should I invite (Y/N)?)

"Hey, is it okay if I invite (Y/N)?" I asked.

No one seemed to mind, in fact they encouraged it.

"Yeah let's bring her too!" Nendou exclaimed.

"She's a great ally." Kaidou added.

"It'll give us the chance to get her the proper equipment for the club!" Hairo said determinedly.

It's amazing how she manages to befriend everyone.

Saiki's POV

'You better prepare yourself (Y/N) you're going to get invited to the mall.'

'But I'm going to be busy afterschool...'

'Well Kuboyasu plans to invite you...'

'Like a date?!'

'Not exactly, but I can make it into one.'

'That's really tempting but I really need to take care of stuff.'

'Alright.'

'You going?'

'No, but they'll probably force me. Like always...'

'Oof it be like that. Maybe I'll join you guys later on?'

'Alright.'
