Saiki's POV

This was getting too much. Maybe I should just tell her and get it over with. After all I do know hers...

'That is an insane idea. Why would you even ask?'

"Well...."

She rummaged through her pockets and pulled out an assortment of rings, bracelets, and tangled up necklaces.

"So I got like these anti-psychic jewelry on E-bay and I thought that a psychic should use them instead of me."

'I thought you said they were from your grandmother....'

I messed up and (Y/N) seemed to notice as she smirked.

"I never told you about my mom, only Toritsuka. And I can guarantee that he couldn't have told you directly since he hasn't spoken to you or been in the same room as you, yet. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't have your number or anyone's number."

Okay I had to admit, she is pretty smart.

'Alright, fine...what do you want?'

She took off her germanium necklace, allowing me to read her thoughts.

'Can you hear me? Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled pepp-'

'Yes, now please stop that.'

If you're wondering if she's a psychic then no. I'm just reading her now readable thoughts and projecting them as if we were talking telepathically, enjoy.

'Why do you want to know if I'm a psychic so badly?'

'Well it's not like I was absolutely dying to know. I just had a hunch and wanted to confirm it.'

'Why can't you be an idiot like the rest of them..."

I sighed and (Y/N) merely shrugged.

'Dunno. I'm just really good at piecing things together and most people aren't.'

'I guess you're right,  is there anything you don't know?'

'Well I have a hunch that Teruhashi isn't as perfect as she may seem, she seems pretty vain on the inside and too focused on her reputation as a perfect pretty girl. Oh, and she possibly has a crush on you.'

'That was all correct. I'm quite  impressed (Y/N), no one has enough brain cells to figure out her flaws without psychic powers.'

'Lmao thanks. Shall we head back to class?'

'Yeah, sure.'

'Oh! One more thing?'

'Yes?'

'So...since you're a psychic and can read minds I'm going to assume you know about my...other self and what happened at the arcade.'

'Yes.'

'Okay, I'm willing to keep your secret so can you keep mine?'

'Deal, but can you make me crepes again?'

'Yeah sure, but how about coffee jelly instead? You seem to favor them quite a lot.'

'Yes! I didn't even know you can make coffee jelly!'

She laughed.

'Of course I can! You're talking to the confectionery master! Now if we were talking about making regular food I'm going to end up burning a building or two down.'

We decided to go back to classes together, slowly. We chatted together like we would normally about random stuff as we headed to class.

"Yeah like this one time I nut-punched some thug cuz he called me girlie. Then I was like: Can a girlie do that, you prick?!"

It was pretty interesting talking to her. I was definitely going to help her with Kuboyasu. After a couple more minutes the bell rang and me and
(Y/N) went our separate ways. But once I got to my class in was a full on interrogation.

"Saiki-kun what did you and (Y/N) talk about? Was she trying to convince you to join the Dark Reunion?!" Idiot #2 asked.

'no-'

"Oi, pal did she confess her undying love to you?" Idiot #1 asked while making a kissy face.

"Get away from me."

I heard Mera and Yumehara snicker among themselves.

"No offense to Saiki, but that would never happen." Mera stated.

(Gah! What if she did confess to Saiki-kun? But Mera-chan said she would never do such a thing. But what if she did?!) -Teruhashi

"She asked me to help her out with a project."

(Yare,yare. This is going to be an annoying day.)

Your POV

After having a conversation with Saiki  your mood lifted a bit. You saw  Toritsuka in the hallway and you told him you knew about Saiki being psychic.

"Woah really?"

You nodded.

"Wow, that's like his biggest secret!"

"Well he knows mine, so I guess we're even."

You walk into class, avoiding Toritsuka's questions.

"What secret?"

The teacher came in as you sat in your seat and classes began again.

Lunch came around and you were forced to accompany Toritsuka, who just dragged you away. Honestly you could've just beaten him to a bloody pulp but that would draw attention.

"Toritsuka, where are we going?" You sighed.

"I need your help with getting girls and since you're one of the few girls that can tolerate me I was hoping you would help." He explained as we got to the courtyard.

'Saiki-kun, if you can hear me...I'm being kidnapped."

No response.

(Guess I'll have to deal with this myself.)

Toritsuka spotted a random girl with short pink hair and light green eyes. He pointed to her while we hid behind a bush.

"Help me with that one please." He pleaded.

You rolled your eyes and decided to watch this blow up in his face.

"Okay, here have this."

You gave him a pink tulip.

"Give it to her and then compliment her hair. Then talk about her interests and/or hobbies. Talk about school and compliment her on her smarts and ask if she would be willing to talk more at a nearby cafe."

He nodded and went to approach the girl.
