Day One Of (Y/n)'s disappearance in her view

After riding off into the distance in the den of night like an edgy Batman wannabe I visited an old friend of mine. Like literally  an old friend, he's like in his 60's or something. Anyways, I visited his home in order to obtain some information. He was nice, for a Yakuza boss. His men opened the gates and bowed as I passed them.

"Guys, there's really no need to do that." I sweatdropped.

"You saved our boss, and so you have our utmost respect." The second in command said, still bowing.

Yeah, it's not as badass as it sounds. We were out for some tea when some lousy hit man showed up. Miro-san was already at the table and I was talking to one of the waitresses. The hit man was in casual attire, but he kept glancing over at Miro-san which I had found pretty weird. The stranger took a sip of his tea and I kept a close eye on him without drawing too much suspicious like he did. Then suddenly he took out a gun which was aimed at the old coot. So I panicked and smacked a chair over his head. (And that's how you save a man's life!)

I slid the door to the home open. It was quite an old-fashioned house, but it was also quite beautiful. Upon entering the house I saw Miro-san sitting down at a little table with two cups of tea ready.

"(Y/n)! I've been expecting you." Miro smiled.

He was nice old coot. Heck he's even okay being called an old coot.

"Miro-san I need help tracking down this guy." I said while pulling out a picture of a middle-aged man with faded brown hair and an aftershave.

Miro took the photo and snapped his fingers to get one of his men. They took the photo away to figure out who it was.

"I'm not too entirely sure who it is, but I'm sure we can get something. Why are you looking for that man anyways? Do you need me to get rid of him for you?" Miro offered.

"No, I need some information on him and from him." I replied.

He's the right-hand man to the person who I'm tracking down. And something tells me its not some wannabe gang. No, he was probably the real deal.

"Boss we've searched through the city's surveillance cameras and we spotted him entering a local bar, we'll keep tabs on him." One of the members informed.

Thing about Miro-san is that he's one heck of a tracker. If you were on his list there's no doubt he'll find you even if you try fleeing from one country to another. He was quite the bounty hunter in his youth from what I heard from his old man stories.

Day 2:

I spent the night there until finally they found more info on the guy. Although the guys seemed displeased with their results, as was Miro-san. He glanced at me and started to approach me. He rested his hand on my shoulders, concerned.

"(Y/n), I suggest you don't involve yourself with whoever it is you're trying to track."

"Huh? But why?"

Miro sighed.

"That guy you had a photo of works for a traitor." Miro explained.

"Their boss used to be part of my syndicate, but he sold us out to the cops quite the number of years ago...." Miro scowled.

"It was probably 8 or 9 years ago. Ever since then he's been kissing up to other bosses until he eventually rallied up his own gang, east of Tokyo."

"Why don't you go and beat his ass?" I asked.

Miro shook his head.

"No, we lost too many good and loyal men to the police. Our numbers have dwindled and he has too much of and influence nowadays." Miro explained.

"Wow, what an ass."

"Indeed..." Miro sighed.

"Anyway, if you still want to investigate on the matter take Kurakawa-san with you." Miro suggested, pointing to one of his guys.

"Alright."

"Just promise me you won't get involved with the boss, you can only investigate within Tokyo." Miro instructed.

"Kurakawa will report to me if you do not obey my instruction, understand?"

I nodded. Yeah no I ain't gonna listen. Pfft, since when do I listen to people?

Day 3:

Well Kurakawa-san and I went explore Tokyo for any signs for whoever it was we were looking for. No one bothered telling me who this "boss" was. But then again I didn't tell them why I'm looking for the guy. Anyways, the search went on, though we made sure we weren't too close to home.

Day 5:

Hey we actually managed to get a clue, there was a secret hideout and me and I guess my new babysitter are planning to scout that place out. We're gonna infiltrate the place tomorrow!

Earlier Day 7:

We managed to get inside. It was more like a bar inside, but there were multiple levels and tunnels that led to some other buildings. These guys took "underground crime organizations" a little too seriously. No one suspected a thing at first, but then things went south. My little "bodyguard" and I were on the right track, but things got a little too heated. I'm not sure what had happened, but we were discovered. Me and Kurakawa-san tried making a run for it. The entrance was right in front of us. After taking care a bunch of those goons (and breaking a few things) we both headed for that big iron door. Then all of the sudden a gunshot rung out. I turned back to see Kurakawa had been shot by and older gentleman in a white suit with a black necktie. (Great now I'm imagining Colonel Sanders...)

W-w-why do I hear boss music?!!

I couldn't move, I didn't want to leave my companion behind, even if he was slightly annoying. I was hesitant, which gave the other guy enough time to shoot me with a different gun. He had aimed at my leg. When I looked down I saw a dart lodges onto my thigh.

Ah shit...

Then everything went black and there was a rather loud "THUD!" which I assume was the sound off me falling unconscious face first.
