Hairo's POV
Today was the day of the tennis match and I was all fired up and ready. But that doesn't mean I should slack off! I planned to do a hundred push-ups and sit-ups before class had officially started in the corner of the room. My fellow classmates cheered me on, their passion motivated me even more and I ended up doing 300 of each before our teacher walked in. We recently had gotten a new teacher whose looks were a bit off putting, but he was still a pretty nice guy.
"Alright settle down please." He said, calming the excitement in our classroom.
I sat in my respective seat and paid attention to my classes.

P.E. came and we were doing another 10 km run. I was determined to beat Nendou for first place. I clench my fist in determined and grinned at him.
"Yosh! Let's do this!" I exclaimed over to him.
"You're going down pal!" He replied.
"Alright settle down." Matsuzaki-sensei said.
"Today you'll be racing with class 2. Today will be a joined class since one of the teacher's caught the flu." Sensei announced.
I beamed with joy after the announcement, since that meant (Y/n) would be running with us. This would be the perfect time to remind her about the tennis match after school and...well maybe impress her by taking first place. Everyone was excited to be running with Teruhashi, but I kept my eye out for (Y/n) and her class. Pretty soon they merged in with our class and I spotted (Y/n) and her friend Ryuu chatting.
"Listen, I'm going to be winning this race so brace yourself." (Y/n) said with a smirk.
"Hah! I don't think so ya lil'- oh hey Hairo-kun!"
Ryuu waved at me as I waved back.
"Are you guys ready?!" I asked excitedly.
"Heck yeah!" (Y/n) exclaimed in enthusiasm.
It was weird that she chose to wear long sleeves to a run, but I decided not to comment on it.
"By the way, the tennis match is afterschool. Are you ready?" I asked with a grin plastered on my face.
"Yeah! But uh...how long do you think the game will last?"
I thought about it.
"Well probably an hour or 2 at most. Why do you ask? Are you going to be busy to play the game?" I asked in a slightly saddened tone.
(Y/n) shook her head repeatedly as she waved her hands in front of her in a panicked manner.
"What?! No no no no, I'm definitely going to play- I was just wondering!" She exclaimed in semi-panic.
I perked up again and smiled.
"Ah, that's good!" I said as I got into starting position for the 10 km run.
3rd Person
"Hmmm....I guess I can still make it in time..." (Y/n) muttered to herself.
Ryuu glance over at the mumbling female.
"Dude, just tell him." He whispered.
(Y/n) sighed.
"No, then he'll say that it's fine and that I don't need to play, but it won't be fine and he'll get sad and I don't want him to be sad." (Y/n) explained.
Ryuu shrugged.
"Well, it's gonna be a long day for you then."
The race began and (Y/n) and Ryuu were currently behind Nendou and Hairo who were competing for first place, well Hairo was while Nendou remained kinda oblivious and even started running backwards. (Y/n) giggled at his goofiness as she began pacing herself, while still keeping up.
