Not So Different |Aren Kuboyasu x Reader|

It was already midnight so you and Ryuu went back to the subway entrance where you encountered a few thugs. It was just you and Ryuu now against 13. You've dealt with a lot more on your own so you remained confident, but were still alert. The thugs surrounding you carried weapons and attempted to make intimidating faces.

"Well, well, well~. What do we have here?" Thug #1 asked.

"Heh. A boyfriend and girlfriend perhaps~" Somebody else cooed.

"Well ain't that cute!" Another spoke in a deep voice.

You and Ryuu at looked over at each other in disgust.

"Ewww." You both said in unison.

"That's mah son/bro you talking about!" You exclaimed while pointing at Ryuu.

"Gross man, she like my mom/sister." Ryuu objected while shaking his head in a disappointed manner at the men.

Then thug #1 got really close and made a weird face that was meant to be intimidating.

"Ehhhh?! Are you mocking us?!" He spat at you.

Without another word nor a warning you quickly landed a right hook on the side of his face. Ryuu quickly ducked as you kicked the guy in front of him right in the face. He leg-sweeped the other guy as you kicked the one with the deep voice. Then both of you took to opposite directions and started to mercilessly attack the others. You flipped a big guy over onto 3 other gang members. Ryuu kicked one right in the chest and caused them to stumble onto others. It was like watching dominoes in a row all coming down.

Only a few minutes had passed and the first fight was already over. Ryuu had a muscular guy in a chokehold while you pressed your foot against a guy's throat. It was a pretty funny view for you considering how lean Ryuu was.

"You think we should go down there?" You asked your bro while pointing at the subway entrance.

He merely shrugged while the guy in his hold started to change color. You looked down and saw that the guy underneath you started foaming from the mouth and was turning an unhealthy shade of purple.

"Oops!" You quickly lifted you foot up and giggled awkwardly.

"Sorry..." You muttered as the guy passed out.

The guy Ryuu had didn't look any better either so he quickly let go. The muscular guy fell face flat onto the ground. You strode over next to him and squatted down to his level.

"Is he dead?" You asked while picking up a nearby stick and poking the unconscious body.

"Nah! He'll be fine~ Now let's go beat the boss!" Ryuu cheered.

You shrugged and flipped the guy over so he wouldn't accidentally swallow a  bug. He seemed fine and so were the others they were just...sleeping and possibly missing a few teeth but they were all alive anyway.

"Ladies first~" You gestured for Ryuu to go first.

You and Ryuu ventured down into the lion's den. Ryuu was ahead of you by a step. He was on protective brother mode but deep down he also wanted to punch someone in the face as well. As you two got to the final steps you were now surrounded by a group of 30. No females were in sight.

"Wow, what a stereotypical sexist gang." You mumbled to yourself.

"Maybe they have a lady boss?" Ryuu whispered over to you.

Suddenly the group of thugs parted for a tall figure. It was like watching Moses parting the sea.

"So you're the idiots who decided to challenge my gang?" The figure's voice boomed.
