Tatum's P.O.V.
I went back to the doctor the other day and my ankle is all good now. I'm just really thankful nothing bad happened to it. I know I shouldn't be thinking about him but I still wonder why Harry acted that way about all of this. When I first met him, he just seemed so sweet and charming. But boy was I wrong. Niall did say something about him not being himself so maybe he is right. Maybe something happened that caused him to be the way he is now. Whatever it is, I hope everything goes back to normal for Harry's sake. I could tell when I hung out with him that how he acted towards me at first was how he used to be.
Anyway, I don't need to give him another thought because all that is in the past. Niall and I are finally able to be a normal couple and go on dates and hang out with friends. I can't believe I missed out on all of this for so long. I am so thankful for Niall and his friends. They put their lives in danger to protect mine. I'll never be able to fully thank them.
Today it's actually just raining in London, when lately it's been snowing, a lot. I'm definitely not used to it but I really do love it. It is finally December, which means it's almost time for Christmas! It'll be my mom and I's first normal Christmas without having to worry about my dad. To say I'm excited about it is an understatement. There is also only two weeks left of school until winter holiday, so I'm actually really excited. I get to spend a lot of time with my mom, Niall, and everyone else.
I'm out in town doing some window shopping to find something to get my mom. No matter how rough we had it, she always found a way to get me at least one item on my list. So I decided it's about time I get her something to thank her for everything she has done.
She has no idea why I am out and she keeps calling me trying to figure it out. I feel my phone ring in my pocket so I get under an awning to answer it without getting my phone wet. "Mom, stop calling because I'm not going to tell you why I'm in town."
"Oh come on Tatum! We don't keep secrets from each other remember?" I sigh. Of course she went there.
"This isn't really a secret what I'm doing. It's more of a surprise."
"But at least give me a hint pl-"
"Goodbye mom!" And I hang up on her laughing. I really don't know what I would do without her. My mom is a very simple yet elegant women so I decide to look in little antique shops for her gift. I venture out into the rain again and find a cute little shop about two blocks from where I was. I don't plan on buying anything today I just want to look around and get some ideas.
I walk inside and start on the farthest wall from the entrance so I can end by the door. I get some ideas on things I can get her and when I make my way to take a final look at the items by the window, I see someone watching me. No it can't be! I can't make out who it is but I'm hoping it's not who I'm thinking it is. I quickly set down what I had in my hand and gently push past the people to get outside. When I get outside I don't see the person anymore. I start looking all around the streets, not having much luck with the rain and people rushing by with their umbrellas in hand.
I decide to walk down the sidewalk in the direction I saw the person, knowing it's not the best idea. I only take a few steps when I see a figure standing in the middle of the sidewalk. He slowly raises his head and I'm met with a set of beautiful yet menacing green eyes. My breath catches in my throat as he starts making his way towards me. I turn and take off in a sprint not knowing where to go but knowing I need to get away.
My hood has fallen off my head causing the rain to get me soaked and make my vision blurry. I bump into what feels like every person in London. When I push past a big crowd I rush into a shop that is right there and hide. I find a spot where I can still see out the window. He is casually walking around, looking for me. When he starts back toward the direction we came, I get up and slowly walk out of the store. I look around at where I'm at and see that I'm not far from Niall's place. When I start to run the direction I need to go, I hit a patch of ice and fall with a loud thud and grunt. I groan in pain and look to see he has turned around with a smirk on his face. I get up as fast as I can, ignoring the pain in my shoulder and make a break for it. All that keeps me going is knowing that soon I will be at Niall's.
