She kept a bit of distance from the trembling boy as to not frighten him any further. On the other hand the girl, (Y/N) got onto the bed and poke his cheek causing him to flinch and fall off the bed, if the woman hadn't caught him in time. He clung onto the woman as if it were his own mother. Sure it was a stranger, but anything was better than the monster that took the shape of that little girl.
"(Y/N) you're scaring him. Give him some time and space first." The woman scolded.
Her voice wasn't stern or anything. It remained gentle and smooth, almost like honey or molasses.
"Sorry mom." (Y/N) grumbled.
The boy was still a bit shaken up and held onto (Y/N)'s mom.
"Are you okay, child?" She asked as she gave the boy a little comforting hug.
He fears and uneasiness seemed to wash away and he gave a small nod. The woman set him down on the bed as (Y/N) clambered off of it.
"So what's your name?" (Y/N) asked.

A year had passed already and (Y/N) and Ryuu were playing in the mansion's garden. (L/N)-san was out in town to get a couple things.
"Oi, (Y/N)!! Where are you?!" Ryuu hollered in the mazed, cupping his hands around his mouth.
(L/n) Yuki, the nicest woman to ever live had taken Ryuu in as if he were her own. Unfortunately such a nice woman was married to a lowly rich scum like Hiroshi-san.
Ryuu exited the maze as he looked around for (Y/N), but couldn't find her, until he was suddenly tackled to the grounds.
"Here I am!" She giggled.
They kept running around like a bunch of children like they were. Then (Y/N) stopped abruptly causing Ryuu to worry. He turned his gaze to the mansion to follow (Y/N)'s. He saw (Y/N)'s father with a mistress of his. (Y/N) bit her lip and clenched her fists in pure anger. But she let out a sigh and smiled at me.
"Wanna see my secret hiding place?"
-
They walked for a bit until they got to an abandoned warehouse. (Y/N) opened the door and a loud creak was heard. Ryuu hesitantly entered.
It was cleaner than expected. There wasn't much except a lamp, a couple fairy lights, a bean bag chair, and a tiny bookshelf with books in the corner of the room. It was a gigantic space and there seemed to be a down stairs as well.
"I haven't been able to expand it as I wanted, but it's still like a little nice escape." (Y/N) smiled and plopped onto the (f/c) beanbag chair.
Ryuu sat on the (f/c) rug and pulled out a book to read. It was comforting.

A couple months passed and then came trouble. (L/n)-san had gotten into an accident. She was in the ER. She was caught up in a local gang fight and was shot in very vital spots. Ryuu and (Y/N) were taken to the hospital by the butler Sebastian. But (Y/N)'s father was nowhere in sight. He did eventually arrived, disheveled as always but he was too late. (L/n) Yuki already took her last breath and passed away.
(Y/n) was shaken up with fear, anger, and sadness. She was currently in the corner of the room sobbing away and digging her nails onto her arm. Hiroshi said and showed nothing on his face. Ryuu snapped and punched the man directly in the face. He had taken up Sambo and mixed martial arts so it took effect. Sebastian didn't stop the young boy until he was ordered to. The worst part was that it was (Y/N)'s birthday. God truly did hate her for such a cruel punishment.
-
Ryuu ran away and lived in the hideout him and (Y/N) would sometimes call their home. He sobbed quietly in the corner. (Y/N) would visit him from time to time and provide him with food, money, and clothing. She didn't want her father to harm him so it was safer for him to stay in the little hideout which eventually improved and managed to become a fully furnished building.
(Y/N) however stayed at the mansion, still secretly stealing money from her father's bank accounts slowly. He married again, but it was a nice woman so she went along with it. She eventually gathered a few people with Ryuu included to form a gang of her own for revenge. Although she still hasn't found the ones responsible to this day.
Instead she gained a rather gruesome reputation for awhile, but she toned it down eventually and wouldn't fight without a good reason now. She treated Ryuu the same way her mom did as a sort of comfort for him.
-
Ryuu looked over at (Y/N) who was currently doing the dishes after the party was over. She was smiling and humming the tune of her favorite song. It's only been an odd number of years but she still managed to cope with everything and be somewhat normal. Ryuu also managed, but had an odd obsession of chicken nuggets.
But everything was peaceful for once and it was all normal. The gang was reduced to only a few close members, it was more like a family now and was (Y/N) the mother. (Y/N) did have a little bit of an anger issue but besides that everything was completely fine for once.
