Run

"Hey pal!" Nendou waved and greeted while still running backwards.

(Y/n) smiled and waved back.

"Hey!"

Hairo glanced over his shoulder upon hearing (Y/n)'s voice and waved with a smile as well. Ryuu was gaining up on them while (Y/n) held her steady pace. Aren was behind them all, trying to catch up.

(Y/n) kept glancing behind her. After 10 minutes or so (Y/n) stopped running and started to backtrack. This confused literally everyone, especially Ryuu who had challenged her earlier.

"Bish! What you doing?!" He yelled as he started running backwards like Nendou trying to keep his eye on (Y/n)

(Y/n) made it to the back where he found an exhausted Kaidou struggling to keep up.

"Kaidou-kun! Get on my back." (Y/n) said while crouching down to give him a piggyback ride.

"N-n-no tha- AH!"

Well since he wouldn't get on her back she decided to just carry him like a sack of potatoes. She caught up with Chiyo.

"Yo, can you carry....ummm- like I'm guessing like 110 pounds for like 7 more km?" (Y/n) asked.

"Hey! ....i'm actually 117 pounds...." Kaidou muttered.

Chiyo had a determined look on her face. She nodded and (Y/n) tossed her a Kaido. Chiyo continued the race while holding her crush bridal style. (Y/n) had no problem whatsoever catching up to Hairo and the others, passing Aren in the process.

"Oh hey, you're back." Ryuu said after (Y/n) managed to catch up.

"Yeah, byeeeee~!" (Y/n) waved goodbye as she managed to take first place.

"Oi!"

Ryuu ran even faster and passed both Hairo and Nendou to catch up with (Y/n). Hairo and Nendou tried to catch up as well, but they couldn't. (Y/n) and Ryuu were now neck-and-neck.

There was only 5 km to go and (Y/n) considered this as the final stretch for some reason...

"Ya ready to lose?" She asked Ryuu.

"Hah! Never!" Ryuu exclaimed as he went maximum overdrive and surpassed (Y/n).

(Y/n) remained behind him for about 12 more minutes. Ryuu was slightly exhausted since (Y/n) was running pretty fast and it was getting harder to maintain the first place position.

"Hahahah! Those chicken nuggets are catching up on you!" (Y/n) mocked as she caught up to Ryuu.

"Shuddup! The amount of (f/f) you eat ain't healthy either!" Ryuu retorted.

"Lmao yeah! I have a problem!" (Y/n) admitted.

"Damn right, plus the amount of sleep you get ain't normal either!"

"Gosh, stop lecturing me already!"

(Y/n) and Ryuu were neck-and-neck yet again, while Hairo and Nendou were catching up.

After about 10 minutes there was only 3 km left and most of the people were exhausted and pretty much gave up. (Y/n) stopped yet again when she saw Aren faltering to maintain his place. So (Y/n) being the good friend she was scooped him up bridal style and ran back to catch up with Hairo, who was behind Ryuu.

"(Y/n)! What are you doing?! P-put me down!" Aren yelled, blushing like crazy.

"(Y/n) what are you doing??" Hairo asked with a confused look on his face.

"Uh....yeah I don't really know." (Y/n) admitted.

"I just wanted to help him out y'know?"

"Well, put me down! This isn't helping! This is embarrassing!" Aren exclaimed still blushing.

(Y/n) frowned slightly and stopped to put him down and jogged by his side to apologize. Aren of course forgave her which made her smile. She waved him goodbye as she took first place, passing everyone else including Ryuu who struggled to catch up.

"Haha! Lil bish!" (Y/n) mocked as she passed him.

"NGYAHHHHH!!!" Ryuu screamed in determination and was right behind (Y/n).

(Y/n) sweatdropped and ran faster as she saw the finish line. Ryuu and Hairo did as well. Nendou was right behind the lot.

Now (Y/n), Ryuu, and Hairo were in for first. Until (Y/n) unleashed her ultimate move.

"Ultimate secret technique!!!" She exclaimed and she assumed position.

She was now Naruto running and actually gaining speed. Ryuu was honestly shocked that it was working.

"What the-"

And (Y/N) finished first with a time of 40.22, which was pretty good. She probably would've saved more time if she hadn't backtracked to pick up random people. But she had no regrets whatsoever.
