Please Don't Go

Lilliana's POV

"What are you talking about Lance? I don't have a daughter."

"Yes you do? Lilliana Eyler?"

"I'M, Lilliana Eyler you moron!"

"Wait, but Aiden called you Lily? I thought your name was Lily?" He did a background check on me, he should know all of this.

"No. I told Aiden he could call me Lily. My full name is Lilliana. Didn't you do a background check?" He stared at the floor.

"Actually no. I only teased you about it. I only glanced at the paperwork you signed to do Aidens surgery. You only put your last name." Okay I partially misjudged him. He's still a stalker and a pervert though.

"Okay, that's nice. Can you get out now. I'd like to put some clothes on since you just barged in here and watched me sleep like a pervert." He blushed and darted out the door.

So much confusion.

I rubbed my eyes and then neck. I was so sore after the surgery. I had been on my feet pretty much the entire day.

Being a surgeon is tiring.

I grabbed my phone to look at the time, 10:33. There were so many missed calls. Five from James and 3 from Cecil. James.

Why was he so harsh? I didn't do anything, and he lashed out on me. I don't mind a clingy guy, but that was overboard.

I started to call him but decided against it. I was still pissed at him. He had no right to accuse me the way he did. I decided to call Cecil instead.

"Hey hon? I know your safe, but will you please explain?"

I told her how I saved Aiden from the car accident and did the surgery on him. I told her all about how he was trying to set me up with his dad and how he insisted that I stayed in a hotel. I left out the part on how he was stalking me this morning.

"This Lance dude sounds hot! Not to mention rich with an adorable son."

"First off, I am not a gold digger. Secondly, I want nothing to do with him, yet somehow, I keep getting myself tangled up with him! Cecil, everything about him screams dangerous."

"You never know Lily. It could be fate bringing you two together!"

"Well Cecil, last time fate stepped in, Cole ended up dead. No thanks." I heard her sigh.

"Please don't reject love just because of him. He wouldn't want that."

"It doesn't matter. I want nothing to do with him and that's final. I gotta go. I have to check up on the boy and handle a few things." I hung up. I finished getting dressed and walked out the door.

"'Bout time! Nearly took you forever. We gotta get going, Aiden might already be awake. I'll stop by somewhere and grab food."

"Okay." I pursed my lips together, it's not like I really had a choice since he insisted that he drive me here.

The car ride was silent. It was just... awkward being near him. Especially since he was stalking me.

Oh god! I went to bed naked last night. He didn't....

"Lance?" I was panicking.

"Yeah?" He glanced at me. "Lilliana! Your so pale, what's wrong?" He looked so concerned.
