Please Don't Go

CHAPTER 32

     "Okay which one was she looking at?" I asked pointing to the rings. The woman chuckled and pulled out a ring from the cabinet.

     It was so... plain, especially compared to the other rings. I didn't see how such a plain ring would be so special. I took a picture of it and sent it to daddy. I had gotten a phone for my birthday, but I was only allowed to have it when I was away from home.

I sent the picture to daddy.

TO DADDY: Lily was looking at this ring. Hehe, you should get it for her. I already sent you the address of the place.

FROM DADDY: Why???

TO DADDY: Because you are destined to be together. So... go do your job.

FROM DADDY: You realize we have only been dating for like, two weeks right? Too soon bud.

I pouted at the thought.

"Aiden, let's go check out some other things."

Lilliana's POV

We went to a few more shops, none of which had a present that we thought suited Lance. Deciding to take a break and headed to lunch. Aiden claimed he was starving and would die if he didn't get food.

Such a boy.

We went to a local restaurant, nothing too expensive thankfully.

"Lily? In your opinion, when is it too soon to be getting married after you start dating?" I stared at him.

"I know what you are playing at Aiden. Lance and I do not plan on getting married for a little while. You need to really get to know a person before you marry them."

"Well then what are you doing with me!? You should be spending more time with daddy so you can get married faster." I laughed, I looked past him to see a man pointing at us while talking to another man. He noticed me looking and rushed off.

     What?

     "Earth to Lily?"

     "Hm?" I brought my attention to Aiden.

     "Never mind." The waiter brought our food. "Ooo! It looks so tasty!" He immediately started eating. I felt sick just looking at my food. Something just felt... off. I ate slowly.

      It tastes fine, Aidens food seems fine as well. I'm just paranoid.

     We finished out meal and decided to head back to the house. I began to feel dizzy, beads of sweat rolled down my temples. I felt like I was going to puke.

     I regret not bringing Zach to drive us.

     I turned the radio on to help distract me from my queasiness.

     "We are reporting to you that Sebastian Carter, also known as James Warren, has escaped prison. If you have any information on his whereabouts, do report it." I turned the radio off and pulled off the road. We weren't in the city anymore, we were in part of the country.

     "Lily? Why did we stop?"

     "Aiden buddy, stay in the car. I need to go puke for the moment." I opened the door and ran into the grass, hurling up what I had ate for lunch. I heard the car door slam close.

      He's free. How? How did this happen? Something feels terribly off.

     "Lily, why are you puking?"

     "It's okay buddy, just get back in the car, I'll be there in a moment.I looked up to see four men dressed in all black staring at Aiden and I. He was frozen in place. My stomach sank to what felt like my feet.

     Everything in my body was telling me to run, but I couldn't.

     "Miss, we are going to need you to come with us." One of the men spoke.

     "Aiden get in the car. NOW." I watched him scurry into the car. One of the men went to the door, yanked it open, and pulled him out of the car.

     "Sorry miss. No witnesses."

     "If this is about me throwing up in the grass-

     "Okay, I've given you long enough to cooperate. Grab her. Take the boy as well." He walked away over to a black van. The man holding Aiden threw him into the same black van. He started screaming.

      "LET HIM GO! AIDEN!" Two men approached me, grabbing my arms and legs, picking me up. I tried to kick and fight, but it was no use. They were built like an Ox.

     There were no cars around either, no one to help. I screamed and thrashed some more, but to no avail. I was panicking. I bent as far as I could and bite one of their ears. He screamed in pain, letting me go. I rushed to the van to grab Aiden when someone grabbed me by the waist, plucking me off the ground.

     "Not so fast darling. We will be riding separate from them. Besides... the boy is just extra. You are what we were after. Sleep tight darlin." Someone hit Me in the back of the head with something hard. I was dazed. Then a cloth covered my mouth and nose.

I was getting sleepy, I just wanted to close my eyes.

Stay awake Lilliana. Come on, don't... cave... in...

Everything went dark. I heard yelling, but it sounded so distant.
