CHAPTER 42

"It's a beautiful home you have." I smiled.

"It was my parents. It was in their will that I inherit it."

"Don't you ever sell this place." He grabbed my hands and stared at me.

"I never planned on it." I got on my tippy toes and kissed him. I pulled away and started to leave but he stopped me.

"Don't go just quite yet darlin'" he wrapped his arms around me. "I'm not done getting your sweet lovin'" I giggled.

"You're so cute."

"Not as cute as you!" He poked my nose.

"Argggghhh! Don't do that!" I covered my nose. I hated people doing that. He smirked at me.

"What? This?" He moved my hand and poked my nose again.

"Stop!" I protested. I tried hiding my nose from him but he kept pulling my hand away.

     I couldn't stop laughing. He was now tickling me. Tears ran down my face from laughing so hard.

     "You're gonna make me die from lack of oxygen!" Not likely but it was still funny.

     "Fine. You win this time, but next time..." he leaned in close to my ear. "I'll be sure to win." He winked at me.

     "Turd." I shoved him away and headed to the kitchen.

     "Wait no! I need you to come with me somewhere! It's date night! Oliver is watching Aiden." I raised my eye brow at him. "Oh come on!"

I grabbed my purse and we headed to the car.

"So where exactly are we going?" I asked.

      "You'll see. However, I need you to put this on. We are almost there." He handed me a black blindfold.

     "Wha-?

     "Just put it on. Please?" He pouted.

     I slipped the blindfold over my eyes. The car soon came to a stop. Lance got out of the car and then helped me out.

     "Seriously, what is this?!" I giggled.

     "Be patient we are almost there." He led me to where ever he was taking me before stopping. "Okay you can take the blindfold off now."

     I reached up and took it off. He had brought me to my parents grave site.

     "I-I don't understand?" I looked at him in confusion.

     "I wanted to do this with your parents. So I brought you here." He got down on one knee and pulled a velvet box out of his coat, revealing the ring I saw in the shop when I was with Aiden.

     "Lana, I know that this isn't super fancy or very romantic however, I wanted your parents to be here. I love you Lana. After nearly loosing you, I realized if I did loose you, I would be lost. You make not only mine, but Aidens lives complete. So, Lilliana Eyler, will you make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?" I covered my mouth in shock.

"Yes! Yes, yes, and yes!" He got up and I threw my arms around him. I pulled away so I could grab his face and kiss him.

"DADDY SHE SAID YES!" I pulled away to see Aiden and Oliver coming towards us. Oliver was holding a camera taking pictures.

"I know buddy." He turned back to me. "Want to try it on?" I nodded. He took the ring out of its box and put it on by ring finger.

"How did you even know?" I looked at the ring, running my finger over the diamonds.

"A little birdy told me." He hugged Aiden.

"Does this mean you will be my mommy Lily?" He was jumping up and down. I looked at Lance, he nodded as if to say 'yes'.

"Yes buddy. I want to make it official. With the permission of both of you, I'd like to adopt you as my own after Lance and I get married." They smiled.

"Yes" they chorused.

"Lance? Will you promise me something?" We had went back to my place after dinner. Our soon to be home.

"What is it darling?" He held my hands.

"Please don't go. No matter what happens, even if we argue. Please don't go. That dream felt so real, I can't loose you guys." He cupped my cheek.

"I promise. Don't leave me either."

"Never. I love you Lance."

"I love you too, my soon to be Mrs. Moretti." I blushed.

"Okay can you two stop being all mushy?It's gross." We looked to see Aiden standing there with his arms crossed.

"Beat it kid. I'm enjoying this time with my Fiancée. Shoo. Besides you were always encouraging this so go away." Lance waved his hand for him to leave.

"She's my mommy! I want mommy hugs." I smiled and crouched down. Lance looked at me betrayed.

"Come here buddy." He ran into my arms.

"I love you mommy." My heart swelled.

"Mommy loves you too sweetheart. More than you know." Lance came in and joined in on the hug.

"Don't forget about daddy!" We laughed.

Plot twist! Lance never left! For those that may be a tad confused...

Chapter 36-41 is all a dream. The beginning of chapter 36 did happen though. I did the different point of views to give an all around POV of the dream. So even though that spanned out over a year, in reality it was a week. None of it actually happened.

Chapter 42 takes place a week after James kidnaps Lilliana. So... SIKE!
