Changes ? Draco x Reader

The next morning, Y/N was woken up by the prefects. She sighed as she rubbed the back of her neck. Sleeping on the cold floor was the worst thing ever. She got up quickly trying not to encounter anyone, so early in the morning. She entered the dungeons and went straight into her room, laying on her bed and falling asleep.

After a couple hours later, Y/N felt a cold hand on her shoulder trying to wake her up. Her eyes slowly open trying to focus on the person. "Stop. Shaking. Me." Y/N said, a bit annoyed. "Love, you need to eat." Draco laughed lightly. She groaned and sat up on her bed. "What time is it?" She said very softly with her eyes slightly closed. She had never felt more tired, all she wanted to do was fall back to sleep.

"It's time for lunch, c'mon get up and get ready." Draco insisted, moving some of her messy hairs out of her face. "Okay, I'll meet you downstairs." Draco got up kissing the top of her head and left the room.

Y/N got up going into the bathroom to take a shower. She stood there for a few minutes and enjoyed the hot water on her body.

She finished showering and changed into a pair of jeans, a shirt, and an oversized zip-up hoodie. She put on her shoes and said a spell to dry her hair. She put her h/c hair into a cute messy bun and walked downstairs.

She met up with Draco, who was sitting down. "How are you feeling?" He asked. "I'm quite tired, but I should eat." Y/N laughed lightly. They walked into the Great Hall and sat down with their friends. Y/N poured herself some chicken soup and began to eat.

"Have they caught Sirius Black?" Pansy asked the group. Each of them shook their heads. Where are they going to have to sleep on the cold floor again? "I hope they catch him today. I don't want to sleep on the floor again." Y/N sighed as she continued to eat.

"Right, it was bloody horrific laying down next to Crabbe and Goyle, they were passing gas all night! It was disgusting." Draco said with a face full of disgust making Y/N laugh a little.

Couple Hours Later

It was finally time for the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff quidditch game. Y/N had gone alone because none of her friends wanted to support the opposing houses. She didn't care, she was there to support Cedric.

She sat on the Hufflepuff bleachers, earning a few smirks from others. Weird.

She watched as both teams came out flying fast with their brooms. She looked over at Harry and Cedric looking side to side trying to find the stitch. Y/N cheered Cedric on, but her screams were nowhere near as loud as Cedric's classmates.

The score was 90-60, Gryffindor winning. She knew Gryffindor was an amazing team, but she hoped Cedric would find the stitch. Sadly her hope was killed, when she saw Harry flying towards the golden ball and catching it.

She frowned slightly, you'll get them next time Ced. Even though Hufflepuff had lost, their classmates we're still proud of their team. They even accepted the party invitation Gryffindor offered.

Y/N left the bleachers making her way to Cedric. She was going to hug him for a great game, but he was way too sweaty. "I'm going to head to the showers, are you coming to the party?" He asked her. "I don't know, I'm not a Hufflepuff." Cedric smiled at her, "You can come as my date."

Did he just say date? As a friend right? Y/N looked at Cedric and laughed nervously, "You're funny." Cedric raised an eyebrow, "I'm being serious, think about it." And he walked away, leaving Y/N shocked.

She walked towards the dungeons, quietly thinking about what just happened. She could go to the party with him as his date, she wasn't dating anyone– but the guilt would eat her up. She knew if she went with Cedric, the "thing" she had with Draco could potentially disappear.

Yet, Draco hadn't made a move or even asked her to be his girlfriend. Y/N was gorgeous and amazing, she couldn't wait forever.

Maybe going to the party with Cedric wasn't such a bad idea? The party could be fun. Maybe Y/N would end up accepting his offer, after all...
