Soon a truck with a bow is dropped off for Clark from Lex Luthor. Dad took the keys and went to the wood chipper. While I go back to my homework. Clark soon enters the kitchen. "Hey, Mom. Whose truck?" he asks her.
"Yours, it's a gift from Lex Luthor" mum states handing him the card. Clark reads the card and smiles asking where the keys are.
"Dad has them" I state and he goes to talk to dad. Not long after dad takes us to the storm cellar. Jonathan pulls off a sheet that was covering the ship. We learn Clark is not from earth and Clark leaves to go clear his head. I knew I didn't dream about that ship.
(Next day)
Clark and I have gone to Lex Luthor's house to drop off the car. We enter to see him fencing with someone. "Allie, Clark didn't see you both" Lex says sheepishly. "How'd you get through the gate?" he asks us.
"I kind of squeezed through the bars and then let Clark in" I lie.
"How's the new ride?" Lex asks Clark.
"That's why we're here" Clark tells him.
"What's the matter? You don't like it?" Lex asks.
"No, it's not that. I can't keep it" Clark tells him.
"Clark, you and Allie saved my life. I think it's the least I can do" Lex states. "Besides Allie still hasn't gotten her gift yet" he adds.
"I don't need anything" I tell him.
"Your dad doesn't like me, does he?" he asks us.
"It's nothing personal. He's just not crazy about your dad" Clark tells him.
"He figures the apple doesn't fall far from the tree? Understandable. What about you Allie, Clark? Did you both fall far from the tree?" Lex asks us.
"We better go" I tell him.
"Thanks for the truck" Clark says handing the keys to Lex. We leave the mansion and go home. Before we're called to go computer room by Chloe. She shows us a photo of a Jeremy Creek from twelve years ago and one she took today.
"That's impossible. He'd be, like, 26 today. Must be a kid who looks like him" I tell her.
"My money was on the evil-twin theory, till we checked his missing persons" Pete tells us.
"Jeremy disappeared from the state infirmary a few days ago, where he'd been in a coma for 12 years. They say he suffered from massive electrolyte imbalance" Chloe explains showing us the article on it.
"That's why he hasn't aged a day" Pete tells us.
"So you're telling us he just woke up?" Clark asks them.
"Well, no, there was a huge electrical storm, and the hospital's generator went down, and when it came back on, Jeremy was gone" Chloe explains.
"Electricity must have charged him up like a Duracell" Pete states.
"And now he's back in Smallville, putting former jocks into comas. Why?" I ask them.
"Because 12 years ago today, they chose Jeremy creek as the scarecrow" Pete tells us.
"Comatose boy found in field 20 yards from meteor strike" Clark reads an old newspaper article.
"The exposure to the blast must have done something to his body" Chloe states.
"Like what?" I ask her confused. She shows us a wall of newpaper articles. "What is this?" I ask her curious.
"I call it the wall of weird" Chloe states. "t's every strange, bizarre, and unexplained event that's happened in Smallville since the meteor shower. That's when it all began -- when the town went schizo. So what do you think?" she asks Clark and I.
"Why didn't you tell us about this?" we ask her.
"Do you both tell me everything that happens in your life? We all keep secrets, Allie and Clark" she tells us. Clark looks at one clipping and leaves. Mumbling about something being his fault. I notice an old photo of Lana as a child in her fairy princess outfit. It's from the day of the meteor shower twelve years ago.
I leave and run after him. But don't find him and go home. Thinking he'd gone home. But he wasn't there either. Mum and dad aren't home. Only one person comes to mind and I call a cab. I have it take me to Lex's and I press the buzzer.
"Allie?" Lex says as his face appears on a screen.
"Lex, I can't find my brother. Can you please help me?" I plead. He agrees and comes out in a new car. I get in the front passenger seat.
"Any ideas where he'd be?" he asks me.
"There is one place, but I hope I am wrong" I tell him. "Take us to Riley Field please" I tell him and he does so. We start to search the field. "Clark!" I call.
"Help me!" a quiet voice calls and I run towards it.
"Allie!" Lex yells and follows with the torch. We find Clark strung up like a scarecrow in his boxes. "Clark? Aw, jeez. Who did this to you?" he demands as he frees Clark. He grabs his clothes. "Maybe you should see a doctor" he tells him.
"I'll be okay" Clark assures him and runs off.
"Can you at least give me a ride home?" I ask Lex sheepishly.
"Sure" he says and I head back to the car. He drives me home and I thank him. Before calling it an early night. Not caring I was missing the dance.
