Abbie's POV
-Next Day-
Once I got into the office, I immediately went in to check some of the kids to see how they were doing to see the same thing we've been observing of the majority of them turning. As I observed them fighting with the guards, I saw Theresa walking over before looking in.
"Is this normal?" She asked.
"It's always been normal since we've been here to our absence." I said.
"Well we can find the cure for those who are still living." She said with so much hope.
"Theresa, I've missed having the same hope you have but this is the reality that some minds aren't brave enough to succumb." I said.
"Have we tried our own blood?" She asked.
"No, that would be smart but like always be let down to see those kids die because their part of our experiment." I said.
"Well we can." She said.
"Then see the kid turn sounds great for the ending." I said getting annoyed with her hope.
"You haven't seen the other Gladers who are here. We've been using their blood to see if any of them are immune to only be let down that sending them in their Glades was pointless." I said.
"That was our experiment though." She said.
"It was and like experiments some fail but in our case includes and life or death consequence. The only way out from this hell is to leave and go to a different continent to hope for the best." I said before seeing Dr. Paige coming over.
"Looks like Dr. Paige wants to talk with you but remember what I said Theresa." I said before walking away to head back to my office hoping for the best for a new world.
