It was about a 5 hour drive and it seemed to past quickly. Tom was our driver,Cody was our tech guy, and Alex was our navigator.
The guys had it all worked out.
We stopped to go loot some oil and food when we herd growing coming from woods on a side of us. All of us hid under cars and the small herd seemed to pass with out noticing us.
As they slugged along, Tom held me close. "Don't say anything, don't move, don't breath." He wispered in my ear, but he was already breaking what he told me.
We both herd a sneeze-a loud one- come out from under a car behind us.... And under that car was Olivia.
The walkers stopped and stumbled toward Olivia who was freaking out, and scrambling away from the walkers grabbing hands.... But it was already too late.
We both herd her scream and the walkers growing louder and louder. The screaming stopped short after, and the sound of meat being torn filled the air.
I started to cry and Tom held me close.
Hours passed and the herd moved on, we crawled our from under our cars and saw Olivia on the ground. She already turned. Her guts where spralled all over the place and her eyes where nearly out of socket. I gagged at the sight and Kaiyah threw up. the air was silent, like the world to stop and grive over Olivia. No one said anything, everyone went into the van without a word, but we where all thinking like crazy.
Tom didnt look at me and climed into the drivers seat. We all crawled in after him and we all started at the floor
Kaiyah stayed in the back, Hannah Alex and I stayed in the middle row, and Tom and Cody took the front.
Hours passed and I noticed a sign.
We made it.
I tapped Hannah's shoulder.
"Hannah wake up... We're home!"
She jolted awake as we stared at awe how the town went downhill so fast.
"Guys.... We are low on gas... We are gonna stop at the next gas station because i don't see any cars nearby." Said Tom.
Everyone nodded their heads and we pulled over.
I jumped our of the car and Hannah was right after me.
"Tom Hannah and I are going to check out the gas station." I said.
He nodded and went to work on the oil.
We opened the large doors and the place was empty.
"Damn." Hannah whispered.
A loud thunk came from the managers office.
"Looks lie we have company." I joked
Hannah nodded and we both stood at the doorway.
It became very quite.
I switched out my blade and turned the knobb.
The door was unlocked and I slowly stepped in,Hannah behind me.
I herd a click, the sound of a gun when you take it off of safety.
I turned the corner and saw a gun to my face, and a familar face behind it.
Matt.... Marlena's boyfriend.
"Matt?"I said.
The gun dropped.
" Ivy?" He said.
A figure jumped from behind him and tackled me.
It was Marlena.
Hannah jumped on top of us and we all laughed.
Matt laughed and became serious.
" do you guys have a group?" He asked us.
Hannah and I nodded.
And ran out of the room with Matt and Marlena following us.
