One year after the first arrival of Gladers, the box comes up with a pretty surprise. Indeed, the new Greenie was pretty. They might get a Newbie every month ever since they woke up in the bloody maze, but now they also get a chick every year. Jane just happens to be the first one. The only girl among more than twenty boys, all trapped in the same place? That should be interesting.

A girl comes up in the box in the weirdest way possible. Not only that she's the first girl in the Glade, but she doesn't come alone. Her overprotective bestfriend wakes up in the same box as her. She can't accept her friends to be tortured in the name of science, so she has to save them...

A girl wakes up in a box lift, only remembering one thing. Her name is Amy. The box lift opens, and she is greeted by a group of boys. They live in a place called the Glade. She finds out she is the only girl in the Glade, and each of the boys only remember their first names. The boys have been trying to get out of the Glade for 3 years. When the new greenie comes along, will they finally find a way out of the maze, or will something get in the way?

One mistake is all it takes for a girl to arrive in the Glade. One mistake for the Gladers to regain hope again. One mistake for two people to fall in love. One mistake to exit the maze. But what happens when that mistake is not a mistake... This is the first book of my two book series. (ok this was pretty crappy BUT the story is quite good😂) I don't own any of the characters (apart from the female lead) nor the whole idea of The Maze Runner. All these belong to James Dashner.
