Chapter 2

"Stark Tower is about to become a beacon of self-sustaining clean energy." I cheered.

"Awesome!"

"Izetta, what did I say? We don't celebrate early, okay? We celebrate the second it happens."

"Sorry, I get excited."

"Well, it will be assuming the arc reactor takes over and it actually works?" Pepper jumped in.

"I assume," Tony assured her.

"Yeah! It'll work great! I looked over everything too!"

"That's right! And what did we say?"

"All kinks worked out and we're ready to fly!"

"You heard the girl, Pep. Light her up." We made it back and I cheered as we saw it power on.

"Told you!" Pepper laughed a little.

"I should've trusted you completely, Izzy." I giggled.

"Uh, duh! Why would you ever doubt me?" We both chuckled.

"How does it look?" She asked.

"Like Christmas but with more...me."

"We've got to go wider on the public awareness campaign. You need to do some press." Pepper reminded him.

"Can I come?" I asked.

"Izz, I'll always tell you when you can come, alright?" Tony told me. I sighed.

"Yeah, I know."

"I'm in DC tomorrow. I'm working on the zoning of the next three buildings."

"Pepper, you're killing me. The moment, remember? Enjoy the moment."

"Get in here and I will."

"Teenager still on the line. Let's keep things PG, thanks." 

"Sorry, Izz," Pepper chuckled. Tony landed first and I waited for a moment before following after him.

"Remind me to make a personal machine for you soon, Izz." I chuckled at that.

"That's Pepper's job. You always forget when I tell you."

"Yeah, yeah, we'll talk about it later." I sighed, smiling as I walked beside him and we joined Pepper. Tony had to tell Jarvis to keep an agent off the line, but I was curious why somebody was trying to reach him. Still, I decided not to ask if Tony wasn't going to address it right now.

Pepper already had the drinks ready. I smiled as I saw the drink she'd prepared for me. It was a soda, but I loved cherry vanilla! I also felt kinda cool since I still got to drink it out of a wine glass.

"Levels are holding steady...I think." Pepper said as Tony went over to her while I went to grab my drink.

"Of course they are. I was directly involved. Which brings me to my next question. How does it feel to be a genius?"

"Well, I really wouldn't know now, would I?"

"What do you mean? All this came from you." Tony said, gesturing to all around us. I chuckled and let them have their moment.

"No, all this came from that." She said, pointing to the reactor in his chest.

"Give yourself some credit. Please. Stark Tower is your baby. Give yourself...12% of the credit." I snickered as her face fell.

"Twelve percent?"

"Oh, that's mean, Tony!" I told him.

"An argument can be made for fifteen!"
