Izetta's POV

After what I could only assume was hours of laying there, I groaned and got up, exhausted but still not able to sleep. I didn't care and put of my own clothes again and started to walk around the castle. I wanted to find the kitchen and see if I could grab a snack. Maybe it would help me feel better. At least, it would've had I been familiar enough with the castle to find my way, but I very quickly got turned around again.

As I wandered through the halls, I noticed that the castle was a lot quieter. At least that confirmed that everyone was asleep. I didn't really want to run into anybody, but I knew I would probably have to if I was ever going to get back to my room.

"I swear I'll be back at Tony's before I learn where the hell I'm going in this place," I grumbled to myself. I kept wandering, going upstairs and downstairs, turning corner after corner, and eventually giving up on trying to find a snack. Now I was just trying to retrace my steps back to my room, but that proved impossible too.

"Of for the love of God, this place can't be any more confusing!" I groaned. I eventually ended up in a place with glass windows everywhere. I saw that they were rooms soon enough. I was confused as to why so many were empty until I heard a voice.

"There are over a thousand places to go in this castle and yet you end up arriving here." I whipped around, startled. I frowned. Oh, great. This is EXACTLY where I wanted to be. Right next to this asshole...

"Loki."

"Enjoying your stay, Midgardian?" I sighed heavily, looking around in annoyed disbelief.

"How the hell did I end up in the dungeon?"

"I haven't the faintest idea." I grumbled a little at his retort, but I didn't have many options. Plus, who knows? Maybe he could be a bit more fun behind bars. Well, I guess I should say shields. I walked over to his cell and sat down outside of it. He looked confused. "What are you doing?"

"I don't know where the hell I'm going, so as long as there's at least someone here that I know, might as well wait and talk to you, even if you are a psychotic prick."

"How kind of you," He said less than enthusiastically. I grinned a little to myself. "I don't have time to waste talking to a foolish creature like you." I raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" I looked around, taking note of the boring empty halls and scanning over his similarly atmospheric cell. "I don't think you're gonna be busy for a while." He glared at me, clearly angered by that notion, but he said nothing. I attempted to lighten the mood ever so slightly. "Usually, if I came across a dungeon, I'd ask some random guy 'what are ya in for?', but I already know the answer to that with you."

"Is this what you call humorous?"

"Nah, but it's what I call a bone in my leg." He looked at me for a moment. I grinned at him, chuckling to myself. Ah, what a classic joke!

"That was awful."

"That reaction was worth it."

"Your puns must be the dullest humor I've ever heard in my entire life."

"I could start telling dad jokes."

"'Dad' jokes?" He asked.

"Yeah. Tony told me a few. I came up with some of my own too."

"Could this conversation get any more excruciatingly painful?"

"I dunno, have you ever broken your back?"

"What? No."

"Well, it's not all it's cracked up to be." He looked confused for a moment before his expression fell as he got it. His face killed me. I laughed loudly as he rubbed his face in pained disbelief.
